Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji traveled from Sudama…
Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji traveled from Sudama Nagari, Porbandar, to Junagadh via Sita Sundari. Here, the village of Bhagat Narsi, Dataganj, was located. Guru Nanak Ji engaged in a spiritual discussion with the devotees of Bhagat Ji, during which he imparted the teachings of renunciation and service.
He said, "If someone desires to attain the Supreme Lord, the purification of the mind is essential. The best way to purify the mind is selfless service to the poor and the suffering. When the heart is purified through service, the Supreme Being is revealed in the search for the soul."
