Now, Nanak Ji was 18 years old

Now, Nanak Ji was 18 years old. Seeing that Nanak had engaged himself in some work, his father, Kalu Ji, sent a message to Moolchand Ji to finalize the wedding date. Then, he took the wedding procession to the town of Batala.

People from all communities participated in the wedding procession. When the procession reached Batala, there was a grand welcome.

Nanak Ji, after traveling, sat near a mud wall to rest for a while. At that moment, an elderly woman said to him, “Son, this wall is weak. Be careful, it might collapse.”

Then, Nanak Ji, in a calm and natural manner, spoke the words: “This wall will never fall.”

That wall still stands as it was, and today, there is a Gurudwara named "Shri Kandh Sahib Ji" at that place. (Kandh means wall.)
