ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਰਬ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥

भैरउ महला ५ ॥

Bhairao, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਰਬ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥

satiguru sēvi sarab phal pāē ॥

सतिगुरु सेवि सरब फल पाए ॥

Serving the True Guru, all fruits and rewards are obtained.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੀ ਮੈਲੁ ਮਿਟਾਏ ॥੧॥

janam janam kī mailu miṭāē ॥1॥

जनम जनम की मैलु मिटाए ॥१॥

The filth of so many lifetimes is washed away. ||1||

ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੋ ਨਾਉ ॥

patit pāvan prabh tērō nāu ॥

पतित पावन प्रभ तेरो नाउ ॥

Your Name, God, is the Purifier of sinners.

ਪੂਰਬਿ ਕਰਮ ਲਿਖੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

pūrbi karam likhē guṇ gāu ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

पूरबि करम लिखे गुण गाउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Because of the karma of my past deeds, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥

sādhū saṅgi hōvai udhāru ॥

साधू संगि होवै उधारु ॥

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I am saved.

ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥੨॥

sōbhā pāvai prabh kai duār ॥2॥

सोभा पावै प्रभ कै दुआर ॥२॥

I am blessed with honor in God's Court. ||2||

ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਚਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੇਵਾ ॥

sarab kaliāṇ charaṇ prabh sēvā ॥

सरब कलिआण चरण प्रभ सेवा ॥

Serving at God's Feet, all comforts are obtained.

ਧੂਰਿ ਬਾਛਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੩॥

dhūri bāchhhi sabhi suri nar dēvā ॥3॥

धूरि बाछहि सभि सुरि नर देवा ॥३॥

All the angels and demi-gods long for the dust of the feet of such beings. ||3||

ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥

nānak pāiā nām nidhānu ॥

नानक पाइआ नाम निधानु ॥

Nanak has obtained the treasure of the Naam.

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਉਧਰਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਜਹਾਨੁ ॥੪॥੧੨॥

hari japi japi udhriā sagal jahānu ॥4॥12॥

हरि जपि जपि उधरिआ सगल जहानु ॥४॥१२॥

Chanting and meditating on the Lord, the whole world is saved. ||4||12||
