ਜੁੱਧ ਕੇ ਜਿਤਈਆ ਰੰਗ ਭੂਮ ਕੇ ਭਵਈਆ

ਕਬਿਤੁ ॥ ਤ੍ਵ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

कबितु ॥ त्व प्रसादि ॥

KABIT, BY THY GRACE

ਜੁੱਧ ਕੇ ਜਿਤਈਆ ਰੰਗ ਭੂਮ ਕੇ ਭਵਈਆ ਭਾਰ ਭੂਮ ਕੇ ਮਿਟਈਆ ਨਾਥ ਤੀਨੋ ਲੋਕ ਗਾਈਐ ॥

juddh kē jitaīā raṅg bhūm kē bhavaīā bhār bhūm kē miṭīā nāth tīnō lōk gāīai ॥

जुध के जितईआ रंग भूम के भवईआ भार भूम के मिटईआ नाथ तीनो लोक गाईऐ ॥

His Name is sung in all the three worlds, who is the conqueror of wars, the mover on the stage and the effacer of the burden of earth.

ਕਾਹੂੰ ਕੇ ਤਨਈਆ ਹੈਂ ਨ ਮਈਆ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਭਈਆ ਕੋਊ ਛਉਨੀ ਹੂੰ ਕੇ ਛਈਆ ਛੋਡ ਕਾ ਸਿਉ ਪੁੀਤਾ ਲਾਈਐ ॥

kāhūṃ kē tanīā haiṃ na maīā jā kē bhaīā kōū chhaunī hūṃ kē chhaīā chhōḍ kā siu pītā lāīai ॥

काहूं के तनईआ हैं न मईआ जा के भईआ कोऊ छउनी हूं के छईआ छोड का सिउ पुीता लाईऐ ॥

He hath neither a son, nor mother non brother; He is the Support of the earth, forsaking such Lord whom should we love?

ਸਾਧਨਾ ਸਧਈਆ ਧੂਲ ਧਾਨੀ ਕੇ ਧੁਜਈਆ ਧੋਮ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਈਆ ਧਿਆਨ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਸਦਾ ਲਾਈਐ ॥

sādhnā sadhīā dhūl dhānī kē dhujaīā dhōm dhār kē dharīā dhiān tā kō sadā lāīai ॥

साधना सधईआ धूल धानी के धुजईआ धोम धार के धरईआ धिआन ता को सदा लाईऐ ॥

We should always meditate upon Him who is instrumental in all accomplishments, establisher of the earth and Support of the sky.

ਆਉ ਕੇ ਬਢਈਆ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਜਪਈਆ ਅਉਰ ਕਾਮ ਕੇ ਕਰਈਆ ਛੋਡ ਅਉਰ ਕਉਨ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੪॥੪੩॥

āu kē baḍhīā ēk nām kē japīā aur kām kē karīā chhōḍ aur kaun dhiāīai ॥4॥43॥

आउ के बढईआ एक नाम के जपईआ अउर काम के करईआ छोड अउर कउन धिआईऐ ॥४॥४३॥

When should we meditate upon forsaking the Lord who prolongs the age of our life, who causes the Name to be repeated and all other works to be done?4.43.
