ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ ਜਿਥੈ ਹਉ ਜਾਈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ਜੀਉ

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ ਜਿਥੈ ਹਉ ਜਾਈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

tūṃ sabhnī thāī jithai hau jāī sāchā sirjaṇhāru jīu ॥

तूं सभनी थाई जिथै हउ जाई साचा सिरजणहारु जीउ ॥

You are everywhere, wherever I go, O True Creator Lord.

ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

sabhanā kā dātā karam bidhātā dūkh bisārṇahāru jīu ॥

सभना का दाता करम बिधाता दूख बिसारणहारु जीउ ॥

You are the Giver of all, the Architect of Destiny, the Dispeller of distress.

ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਹੋਵੈ ॥

dūkh bisārṇahāru suāmī kītā jā kā hōvai ॥

दूख बिसारणहारु सुआमी कीता जा का होवै ॥

The Lord Master is the Dispeller of distress; all that happens is by His doing.

ਕੋਟ ਕੋਟੰਤਰ ਪਾਪਾ ਕੇਰੇ ਏਕ ਘੜੀ ਮਹਿ ਖੋਵੈ ॥

kōṭ kōṭntar pāpā kērē ēk ghaṛī mahi khōvai ॥

कोट कोटंतर पापा केरे एक घड़ी महि खोवै ॥

Millions upon millions of sins, He destroys in an instant.

ਹੰਸ ਸਿ ਹੰਸਾ ਬਗ ਸਿ ਬਗਾ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਕਰੇ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

haṃs si haṃsā bag si bagā ghaṭ ghaṭ karē bīchāru jīu ॥

हंस सि हंसा बग सि बगा घट घट करे बीचारु जीउ ॥

He calls a swan a swan, and a crane a crane; He contemplates each and every heart.

ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ ਜਿਥੈ ਹਉ ਜਾਈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥

tūṃ sabhnī thāī jithai hau jāī sāchā sirjaṇhāru jīu ॥1॥

तूं सभनी थाई जिथै हउ जाई साचा सिरजणहारु जीउ ॥१॥

You are everywhere, wherever I go, O True Creator Lord. ||1||

ਜਿਨ੍‍ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

jin‍ ik mani dhiāiā tin‍ sukhu pāiā tē virlē saṃsāri jīu ॥

जिन्‍ इक मनि धिआइआ तिन्‍ सुखु पाइआ ते विरले संसारि जीउ ॥

Those who meditate on Him single-mindedly obtain peace; how rare are they in this world.

ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਆਵਹਿ ਹਾਰਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

tin jamu nēṛi na āvai gur sabdu kamāvai kabhu na āvahi hāri jīu ॥

तिन जमु नेड़ि न आवै गुर सबदु कमावै कबहु न आवहि हारि जीउ ॥

The Messenger of Death does not draw near those who live the Guru's Teachings; they never return defeated.

ਤੇ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਹਾਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਹਿ ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥

tē kabhu na hārhi hari hari guṇ sārhi tin‍ jamu nēṛi na āvai ॥

ते कबहु न हारहि हरि हरि गुण सारहि तिन्‍ जमु नेड़ि न आवै ॥

Those who appreciate the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, never suffer defeat; the Messenger of Death does not even approach them.

ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਕਾ ਚੂਕਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਗੇ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

jammṇu marṇu tinā kā chūkā jō hari lāgē pāvai ॥

जंमणु मरणु तिन्‍ा का चूका जो हरि लागे पावै ॥

Birth and death are ended for those who are attached to the feet of the Lord.

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

gurmati hari rasu hari phalu pāiā hari hari nāmu ur dhāri jīu ॥

गुरमति हरि रसु हरि फलु पाइआ हरि हरि नामु उर धारि जीउ ॥

Through the Guru's Teachings, they obtain the sublime essence of the Lord, and the fruit of the Lord; they enshrine the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in their hearts.

ਜਿਨ੍‍ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥

jin‍ ik mani dhiāiā tin‍ sukhu pāiā tē virlē saṃsāri jīu ॥2॥

जिन्‍ इक मनि धिआइआ तिन्‍ सुखु पाइआ ते विरले संसारि जीउ ॥२॥

Those who meditate on Him single-mindedly obtain peace; how rare are they in this world. ||2||

ਜਿਨਿ ਜਗ???ੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਧੰਧੈ ਲਾਇਆ ਤਿਸੈ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

jini jagtu upāiā dhandhai lāiā tisai viṭhu kurbāṇu jīu ॥

जिनि जगतु उपाइआ धंधै लाइआ तिसै विटहु कुरबाणु जीउ ॥

He who created the world and assigned all to their tasks - unto Him I am a sacrifice.

ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀਜੈ ਲਾਹਾ ਲੀਜੈ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਣੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

tā kī sēv karījai lāhā lījai hari dargah pāīai māṇu jīu ॥

ता की सेव करीजै लाहा लीजै हरि दरगह पाईऐ माणु जीउ ॥

So serve Him, and gather profit, and you shall obtain honor in the Court of the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੁ ਸੋਈ ਜਨੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਜੋ ਨਰੁ ਏਕੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥

hari dargah mānu sōī janu pāvai jō naru ēku pachhāṇai ॥

हरि दरगह मानु सोई जनु पावै जो नरु एकु पछाणै ॥

That humble being, who recognizes the One Lord alone, obtains honor in the Court of the Lord.

ਓਹੁ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣੈ ॥

ōhu nav nidhi pāvai gurmati hari dhiāvai nit hari guṇ ākhi vakhāṇai ॥

ओहु नव निधि पावै गुरमति हरि धिआवै नित हरि गुण आखि वखाणै ॥

One who meditates on the Lord, through the Guru's Teachings, obtains the nine treasures; he chants and repeats continually the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤਿਸੈ ਕਾ ਲੀਜੈ ਹਰਿ ਊਤਮੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ਜੀਉ ॥

ahinisi nāmu tisai kā lījai hari ūtmu purkhu pardhānu jīu ॥

अहिनिसि नामु तिसै का लीजै हरि ऊतमु पुरखु परधानु जीउ ॥

Day and night, take the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the most sublime Primal Being.

ਜਿਨਿ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਧੰਧੈ ਲਾਇਆ ਹਉ ਤਿਸੈ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥

jini jagtu upāiā dhandhai lāiā hau tisai viṭhu kurbānu jīu ॥3॥

जिनि जगतु उपाइआ धंधै लाइआ हउ तिसै विटहु कुरबानु जीउ ॥३॥

The One who created the world and assigned all to their tasks - I am a sacrifice to Him. ||3||

ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਨਿ ਸਿ ਸੋਹਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮਾਨਹਿ ਸੇ ਜਿਣਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

nāmu laini si sōhhi tin sukh phal hōvahi mānhi sē jiṇi jāhi jīu ॥

नामु लैनि सि सोहहि तिन सुख फल होवहि मानहि से जिणि जाहि जीउ ॥

Those who chant the Naam look beautiful; they obtain the fruit of peace. Those who believe in the Name win the game of life.

ਤਿਨ ਫਲ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਜੇ ਜੁਗ ਕੇਤੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

tin phal tōṭi na āvai jā tisu bhāvai jē jug kētē jāhi jīu ॥

तिन फल तोटि न आवै जा तिसु भावै जे जुग केते जाहि जीउ ॥

Their blessings are not exhausted, if it pleases the Lord, even though numerous ages may pass.

ਜੇ ਜੁਗ ਕੇਤੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ ਫਲ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥

jē jug kētē jāhi suāmī tin phal tōṭi na āvai ॥

जे जुग केते जाहि सुआमी तिन फल तोटि न आवै ॥

Even though numerous ages may pass, O Lord Master, their blessings are not exhausted.

ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਜਰਾ ਨ ਮਰਣਾ ਨਰਕਿ ਨ ਪਰਣਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥

tin‍ jarā na marṇā narki na parṇā jō hari nāmu dhiāvai ॥

तिन्‍ जरा न मरणा नरकि न परणा जो हरि नामु धिआवै ॥

They do not age, they do not die and fall into hell, if they meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਸਿ ਸੂਕਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੀੜ ਨ ਖਾਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥

hari hari karahi si sūkahi nāhī nānak pīṛ na khāhi jīu ॥

हरि हरि करहि सि सूकहि नाही नानक पीड़ न खाहि जीउ ॥

Those who chant the Lord's Name, Har, Har, do not wither, O Nanak; they are not afflicted by pain.

ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਨ੍‍ ਸਿ ਸੋਹਹਿ ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮਾਨਹਿ ਸੇ ਜਿਣਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੧॥੪॥

nāmu lain‍ isi sōhhi tin‍ sukh phal hōvahi mānhi sē jiṇi jāhi jīu ॥4॥1॥4॥

नामु लैन्‍ िसि सोहहि तिन्‍ सुख फल होवहि मानहि से जिणि जाहि जीउ ॥४॥१॥४॥

Those who chant the Naam look beautiful; they obtain the fruit of peace. Those who believe in the Name win the game of life. ||4||1||4||
