ਥਾਤੀ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ

गउड़ी महला ५ ॥

Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਥਾਤੀ ਪਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥

thātī pāī hari kō nām ॥

थाती पाई हरि को नाम ॥

Those who obtain the wealth of the Lord's Name

ਬਿਚਰੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥

bicru saṃsār pūran sabhi kām ॥1॥

बिचरु संसार पूरन सभि काम ॥१॥

Move freely in the world; all their affairs are resolved. ||1||

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਈਐ ॥

vaḍbhāgī hari kīrtanu gāīai ॥

वडभागी हरि कीरतनु गाईऐ ॥

By great good fortune, the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are sung.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਤ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

pārbraham tūṃ dēhi ta pāīai ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

पारब्रहम तूं देहि त पाईऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

O Supreme Lord God, as You give, so do I receive. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ॥

hari kē charaṇ hirdai uri dhāri ॥

हरि के चरण हिरदै उरि धारि ॥

Enshrine the Lord's Feet within your heart.

ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਚੜਿ ਉਤਰਹਿ ਪਾਰਿ ॥੨॥

bhav sāgru chaṛi utrahi pāri ॥2॥

भव सागरु चड़ि उतरहि पारि ॥२॥

Get aboard this boat, and cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||2||

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥

sādhū saṅgu karahu sabhu kōi ॥

साधू संगु करहु सभु कोइ ॥

Everyone who joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,

ਸਦਾ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥

sadā kaliāṇ phiri dūkhu na hōi ॥3॥

सदा कलिआण फिरि दूखु न होइ ॥३॥

Obtains eternal peace; pain does not afflict them any longer. ||3||

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਜੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥

prēm bhagti bhaju guṇī nidhānu ॥

प्रेम भगति भजु गुणी निधानु ॥

With loving devotional worship, meditate on the treasure of excellence.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੪॥੮੪॥੧੫੩॥

nānak dargah pāīai mānu ॥4॥84॥153॥

नानक दरगह पाईऐ मानु ॥४॥८४॥१५३॥

O Nanak, you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. ||4||84||153||
