ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ

आसा महला ४ ॥

Aasaa, Fourth Mehl:

ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥

satsaṅgti milīai hari sādhū mili saṅgti hari guṇ gāi ॥

सतसंगति मिलीऐ हरि साधू मिलि संगति हरि गुण गाइ ॥

Join the Sat Sangat, the Lord's True Congregation; joining the Company of the Holy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

ਗਿਆਨ ਰਤਨੁ ਬਲਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥

giān ratnu baliā ghaṭi chānṇu agiānu andhērā jāi ॥1॥

गिआन रतनु बलिआ घटि चानणु अगिआनु अंधेरा जाइ ॥१॥

With the sparkling jewel of spiritual wisdom, the heart is illumined, and ignorance is dispelled. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਨਾਚਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥

hari jan nāchhu hari hari dhiāi ॥

हरि जन नाचहु हरि हरि धिआइ ॥

O humble servant of the Lord, let your dancing be meditation on the Lord, Har, Har.

ਐਸੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਹਮ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਧੋਵਹ ਪਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

aisē sant milhi mērē bhāī ham jan kē dhōvah pāi ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

ऐसे संत मिलहि मेरे भाई हम जन के धोवह पाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

If only I cold meet such Saints, O my Siblings of Destiny; I would wash the feet of such servants. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥

hari hari nāmu japhu man mērē andinu hari liv lāi ॥

हरि हरि नामु जपहु मन मेरे अनदिनु हरि लिव लाइ ॥

Meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, O my mind; night and day, center your consciousness on the Lord.

ਜੋ ਇਛਹੁ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਫਿਰਿ ਭੂਖ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਇ ॥੨॥

jō ichhhu sōī phalu pāvhu phiri bhūkh na lāgai āi ॥2॥

जो इछहु सोई फलु पावहु फिरि भूख न लागै आइ ॥२॥

You shall have the fruits of your desires, and you shall never feel hunger again. ||2||

ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਬੋਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥

āpē hari aprampru karatā hari āpē bōli bulāi ॥

आपे हरि अपरंपरु करता हरि आपे बोलि बुलाइ ॥

The Infinite Lord Himself is the Creator; the Lord Himself speaks, and causes us to speak.

ਸੇਈ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਹਿ ਜਿਨ੍‍ ਕੀ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਥਾਇ ॥੩॥

sēī sant bhalē tudhu bhāvahi jin‍ kī pati pāvahi thāi ॥3॥

सेई संत भले तुधु भावहि जिन्‍ की पति पावहि थाइ ॥३॥

The Saints are good, who are pleasing to Your Will; their honor is approved by You. ||3||

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਖਿ ਨ ਰਾਜੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਜਿਉ ਆਖੈ ਤਿਉ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇ ॥

nānku ākhi na rājai hari guṇ jiu ākhai tiu sukhu pāi ॥

नानकु आखि न राजै हरि गुण जिउ आखै तिउ सुखु पाइ ॥

Nanak is not satisfied by chanting the Lord's Glorious Praises; the more he chants them, the more he is at peace.

ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਦੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹਕੁ ਵਣਜਿ ਲੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੬੩॥

bhagti bhaṇḍār dīē hari apunē guṇ gāhku vaṇji lai jāi ॥4॥11॥63॥

भगति भंडार दीए हरि अपुने गुण गाहकु वणजि लै जाइ ॥४॥११॥६३॥

The Lord Himself has bestowed the treasure of devotional love; His customers purchase virtues, and carry them home. ||4||11||63||
