ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸੁਰਤਰ ਚਿੰਤਾਮਨਿ ਕਾਮਧੇਨੁ ਬਸਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ॥

ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸੁਰਤਰ ਚਿੰਤਾਮਨਿ ਕਾਮਧੇਨੁ ਬਸਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ॥

sukh sāgru suratar chintāmni kāmdhēnu basi jā kē ॥

सुख सागरु सुरतर चिंतामनि कामधेनु बसि जा के ॥

He is the ocean of peace; the miraculous tree of life, the wish-fulfilling jewel, and the Kaamadhayna, the cow which fulfills all desires, all are in His power.

ਚਾਰਿ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਅਸਟ ਦਸਾ ਸਿਧਿ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਰ ਤਲ ਤਾ ਕੇ ॥੧॥

chāri padārath asaṭ dasā sidhi nav nidhi kar tal tā kē ॥1॥

चारि पदारथ असट दसा सिधि नव निधि कर तल ता के ॥१॥

The four great blessings, the eighteen supernatural spiritual powers of the Siddhas, and the nine treasures, are all in the palm of His hand. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨ ਜਪਹਿ ਰਸਨਾ ॥

hari hari hari na japhi rasnā ॥

हरि हरि हरि न जपहि रसना ॥

You do not chant with your tongue the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, Har.

ਅਵਰ ਸਭ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਬਚਨ ਰਚਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

avar sabh tiāgi bachan racnā ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

अवर सभ तिआगि बचन रचना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Abandon your involvement in all other words. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਨਾ ਖਿਆਨ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਬੇਦ ਬਿਧਿ ਚਉਤੀਸ ਅਖਰ ਮਾਂਹੀ ॥

nānā khiān purān bēd bidhi chautīs akhar māṃhī ॥

नाना खिआन पुरान बेद बिधि चउतीस अखर मांही ॥

The various Shaastras, Puranaas, and the Vedas of Brahma, are made up of thirty-four letters.

ਬਿਆਸ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਕਹਿਓ ਪਰਮਾਰਥੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਸਰਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨॥

biās bichāri kahiō parmārthu rām nām sari nāhī ॥2॥

बिआस बिचारि कहिओ परमारथु राम नाम सरि नाही ॥२॥

After deep contemplation, Vyaas spoke of the supreme objective; there is nothing equal to the Lord's Name. ||2||

ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਉਪਾਧਿ ਰਹਤ ਫੁਨਿ ਬਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥

sahaj samādhi upādhi rahat phuni baḍai bhāgi liv lāgī ॥

सहज समाधि उपाधि रहत फुनि बडै भागि लिव लागी ॥

Very fortunate are those who are absorbed in celestial bliss, and released from their entanglements; they are lovingly attached to the Lord.

ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਧਰਿ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਭੈ ਭਾਗੀ ॥੩॥੪॥

kahi ravidās pragāsu ridai dhari janam maran bhai bhāgī ॥3॥4॥

कहि रविदास प्रगासु रिदै धरि जनम मरन भै भागी ॥३॥४॥

Says Ravi Daas, enshrine the Lord's Light within your heart, and your fear of birth and death shall run away from you. ||3||4||

ਜਉ ਤੁਮ ਗਿਰਿਵਰ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਮੋਰਾ ॥

jau tum girivar tau ham mōrā ॥

जउ तुम गिरिवर तउ हम मोरा ॥

If You are the mountain, Lord, then I am the peacock.

ਜਉ ਤੁਮ ਚੰਦ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਚਕੋਰਾ ॥੧॥

jau tum chand tau ham bhaē hai chakōrā ॥1॥

जउ तुम चंद तउ हम भए है चकोरा ॥१॥

If You are the moon, then I am the partridge in love with it. ||1||

ਮਾਧਵੇ ਤੁਮ ਨ ਤੋਰਹੁ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਨਹੀ ਤੋਰਹਿ ॥

mādhvē tum na tōrahu tau ham nahī tōrahi ॥

माधवे तुम न तोरहु तउ हम नही तोरहि ॥

O Lord, if You will not break with me, then I will not break with You.

ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਤੋਰਿ ਕਵਨ ਸਿਉ ਜੋਰਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

tum siu tōri kavan siu jōrahi ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

तुम सिउ तोरि कवन सिउ जोरहि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

For, if I were to break with You, with whom would I then join? ||1||Pause||

ਜਉ ਤੁਮ ਦੀਵਰਾ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਬਾਤੀ ॥

jau tum dīvarā tau ham bātī ॥

जउ तुम दीवरा तउ हम बाती ॥

If You are the lamp, then I am the wick.

ਜਉ ਤੁਮ ਤੀਰਥ ਤਉ ਹਮ ਜਾਤੀ ॥੨॥

jau tum tīrath tau ham jātī ॥2॥

जउ तुम तीरथ तउ हम जाती ॥२॥

If You are the sacred place of pilgrimage, then I am the pilgrim. ||2||

ਸਾਚੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਜੋਰੀ ॥

sāchī prīti ham tum siu jōrī ॥

साची प्रीति हम तुम सिउ जोरी ॥

I am joined in true love with You, Lord.

ਤੁਮ ਸਿਉ ਜੋਰਿ ਅਵਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੋਰੀ ॥੩॥

tum siu jōri avar saṅgi tōrī ॥3॥

तुम सिउ जोरि अवर संगि तोरी ॥३॥

I am joined with You, and I have broken with all others. ||3||

ਜਹ ਜਹ ਜਾਉ ਤਹਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ॥

jah jah jāu tahā tērī sēvā ॥

जह जह जाउ तहा तेरी सेवा ॥

Wherever I go, there I serve You.

ਤੁਮ ਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਅਉਰੁ ਨ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੪॥

tum sō ṭhākuru auru na dēvā ॥4॥

तुम सो ठाकुरु अउरु न देवा ॥४॥

There is no other Lord Master than You, O Divine Lord. ||4||

ਤੁਮਰੇ ਭਜਨ ਕਟਹਿ ਜਮ ਫਾਂਸਾ ॥

tumrē bhajan kaṭhi jam phāṃsā ॥

तुमरे भजन कटहि जम फांसा ॥

Meditating, vibrating upon You, the noose of death is cut away.

ਭਗਤਿ ਹੇਤ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਵਿਦਾਸਾ ॥੫॥੫॥

bhagti hēt gāvai ravidāsā ॥5॥5॥

भगति हेत गावै रविदासा ॥५॥५॥
