ਸਜਣੁ ਮੈਡਾ ਰੰਗੁਲਾ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ ਮਨੁ ਲੇਇ ॥

  2. ਸਜਣੁ ਮੈਡਾ ਰੰਗੁਲਾ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ ਮਨੁ ਲੇਇ ॥

    sajṇu maiḍā raṅgulā raṅgu lāē manu lēi ॥

    सजणु मैडा रंगुला रंगु लाए मनु लेइ ॥

    My Friend is so full of joy and love; He colors my mind with the color of His Love,

  3. ਜਿਉ ਮਾਜੀਠੈ ਕਪੜੇ ਰੰਗੇ ਭੀ ਪਾਹੇਹਿ ॥

    jiu mājīṭhai kapaṛē raṅgē bhī pāhēhi ॥

    जिउ माजीठै कपड़े रंगे भी पाहेहि ॥

    Like the fabric which is treated to retain the color of the dye.

  4. ਨਾਨਕ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਬਿਆ ਨ ਲਗੈ ਕੇਹ ॥੨॥

    nānak raṅgu na utrai biā na lagai kēh ॥2॥

    नानक रंगु न उतरै बिआ न लगै केह ॥२॥

    O Nanak, this color does not depart, and no other color can be imparted to this fabric. ||2||
