ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਈਅਹਿ ਮੀਤਾ ॥

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਈਅਹਿ ਮੀਤਾ ॥

sagal manōrath pāīahi mītā ॥

सगल मनोरथ पाईअहि मीता ॥

All desires are fulfilled, O my friend,

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਈਐ ਚੀਤਾ ॥੧॥

charan kamal siu lāīai chītā ॥1॥

चरन कमल सिउ लाईऐ चीता ॥१॥

Lovingly centering your consciousness on the Lord's Lotus Feet. ||1||

ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਵਤ ॥

hau balihārī jō prabhū dhiāvat ॥

हउ बलिहारी जो प्रभू धिआवत ॥

I am a sacrifice to those who meditate on God.

ਜਲਨਿ ਬੁਝੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jalni bujhai hari hari gun gāvat ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जलनि बुझै हरि हरि गुन गावत ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

The fire of desire is quenched, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||Pause||

ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹੋਵਤ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥

saphal janmu hōvat vaḍbhāgī ॥

सफल जनमु होवत वडभागी ॥

One's life become fruitful and rewarding, by great good fortune.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਰਾਮਹਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੨॥

sādhsaṅgi rāmhi liv lāgī ॥2॥

साधसंगि रामहि लिव लागी ॥२॥

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, enshrine love for the Lord. ||2||

ਮਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਧਨੁ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਨੰਦਾ ॥ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਵਿਸਰਹੁ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੩॥

mati pati dhanu sukh sahaj anndā ॥ ik nimakh na visrahu parmānndā ॥3॥

मति पति धनु सुख सहज अनंदा ॥ इक निमख न विसरहु परमानंदा ॥३॥

Wisdom, honor, wealth, peace and celestial bliss are attained, if one does not forget the Lord of supreme bliss, even for an instant. ||3||

ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਸ ਘਨੇਰੀ ॥

hari darsan kī mani piās ghanērī ॥

हरि दरसन की मनि पिआस घनेरी ॥

My mind is so very thirsty for the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.

ਭਨਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੀ ॥੪॥੮॥੧੩॥

bhanti nānak sarṇi prabh tērī ॥4॥8॥13॥

भनति नानक सरणि प्रभ तेरी ॥४॥८॥१३॥

Prays Nanak, O God, I seek Your Sanctuary. ||4||8||13||
