Fifth Mehl:

ਸਚੀ ਬੈਸਕ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਜਿਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਨਾਉ ॥

sachī baisak tinā saṅgi jin saṅgi japīai nāu ॥

सची बैसक तिन्‍ा संगि जिन संगि जपीऐ नाउ ॥

The true society is the company of those who meditate on the Name of the Lord.

ਤਿਨ੍‍ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਕੀਚਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁਆਉ ॥੨॥

tin‍ saṅgi saṅgu na kīchaī nānak jinā āpaṇā suāu ॥2॥

तिन्‍ संगि संगु न कीचई नानक जिना आपणा सुआउ ॥२॥

Do not associate with those, O Nanak, who look out only for their own interests. ||2||
