ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਫਿਰਿ ਮੈ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਇਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ॥

sabhu jagu phiri mai dēkhiā hari ikō dātā ॥

सभु जगु फिरि मै देखिआ हरि इको दाता ॥

Roaming over the entire world, I have seen that the Lord is the only Giver.

ਉਪਾਇ ਕਿਤੈ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥

upāi kitai na pāīai hari karam bidhātā ॥

उपाइ कितै न पाईऐ हरि करम बिधाता ॥

The Lord cannot be obtained by any device at all; He is the Architect of Karma.

ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਹਰਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਜਾਤਾ ॥

gur sabadī hari mani vasai hari sahjē jātā ॥

गुर सबदी हरि मनि वसै हरि सहजे जाता ॥

Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Lord comes to dwell in the mind, and the Lord is easily revealed within.

ਅੰਦਰਹੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਰਿ ਨਾਤਾ ॥

andrahu trisnā agni bujhī hari ammrit sari nātā ॥

अंदरहु त्रिसना अगनि बुझी हरि अंम्रित सरि नाता ॥

The fire of desire within is quenched, and one bathes in the Lord's Pool of Ambrosial Nectar.

ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵਡੇ ਕੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲਾਤਾ ॥੬॥

vaḍī vaḍiāī vaḍē kī gurmukhi bōlātā ॥6॥

वडी वडिआई वडे की गुरमुखि बोलाता ॥६॥

The great greatness of the great Lord God - the Gurmukh speaks of this. ||6||
