ਸਿਧ ਬੋਲੇ ਸੁਨ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਤੁਹਿ ਜਗ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਾਮਾਤ ਦਿਖਲਾਈ॥

ਸਿਧ ਬੋਲੇ ਸੁਨ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਤੁਹਿ ਜਗ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਾਮਾਤ ਦਿਖਲਾਈ॥

sidh bōlē sun nānkā tuhi jag nūṃ karāmāt dikhlāī॥

सिध बोले सुन नानका तुहि जग नूं करामात दिखलाई॥

Siddhs spoke, Listen O Nanak! You have shown miracles to the world.

ਕੁਝ ਦਿਖਾਈਂ ਅਸਾਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਢਿਲ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਲਾਈ॥

kujh dikhāīṃ asānūṃ bhī tūṃ kiuṃ ḍhil ajēhī lāī॥

कुझ दिखाईं असानूं भी तूं किउं ढिल अजेही लाई॥

Why are you late in showing some to us.

ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਲੇ ਨਾਥ ਜੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਵੇਖੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਵਸਤੁ ਨ ਕਾਈ॥

bābā bōlē nāth jī asāṃ vēkhē jōgī vastu na kāī॥

बाबा बोले नाथ जी असां वेखे जोगी वसतु न काई॥

Baba replied, O respected Nath! I have nothing worth showing to you.

ਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੂਜੀ ਓਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਰਾਈ॥

gur saṅgat bāṇī binā dūjī ōṭ nahīṃ hai rāī॥

गुर संगत बाणी बिना दूजी ओट नहीं है राई॥

I have no support except of the Guru (God), holy congregation, and the Word (bani).

ਸਿਵ ਰੂਪੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਚਲੇ ਨਾਹੀਂ ਧਰਤ ਚਲਾਈ॥

siv rūpī karatā purakh chalē nāhīṃ dharat chalāī॥

सिव रूपी करता पुरख चले नाहीं धरत चलाई॥

That Paramatman who is all full of benedictions (sivam) for all is stable and the earth (and material over it) is transitory.

ਸਿਧ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਝੜ ਪਏ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੈ ਕਲਾ ਛਪਾਈ॥

sidh tantr mantr kar jhaṛ paē shabad gurū kai kalā chhapāī॥

सिध तंत्र मंत्र कर झड़ पए शबद गुरू कै कला छपाई॥

The siddhs exhausted themselves with the tantra-mantras but the world of Lord did not allow their powers to come up.

ਦਦੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਕਕੇ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਈ॥

dadē dātā gurū hai kakē kīmat kinai na pāī॥

ददे दाता गुरू है कके कीमत किनै न पाई॥

The Guru is the giver and no one can gauge his bounties.

ਸੋ ਦੀਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੪੨॥

sō dīn nānak satigur sarṇāī ॥42॥

सो दीन नानक सतिगुर सरणाई ॥४२॥

Utimately, the humbled yogis submitted before the true Guru Nanak.
