ਛਡਾਇ ਲੀਓ ਮਹਾ ਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤਿ ॥

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:

ਛਡਾਇ ਲੀਓ ਮਹਾ ਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤਿ ॥

chhaḍāi līō mahā balī tē apnē charan parāti ॥

छडाइ लीओ महा बली ते अपने चरन पराति ॥

He has saved me from the awful power of Maya, by attaching me to His feet.

ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਮਨ ਮੰਤਾ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਤਿ ॥੧॥

ēku nāmu dīō man mantā binsi na katahū jāti ॥1॥

एकु नामु दीओ मन मंता बिनसि न कतहू जाति ॥१॥

He gave my mind the Mantra of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord, which shall never perish or leave me. ||1||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥

satiguri pūrai kīnī dāti ॥

सतिगुरि पूरै कीनी दाति ॥

The Perfect True Guru has given this gift.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਉ ਭਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗਾਤਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

hari hari nāmu dīō kīratan kau bhaī hamārī gāti ॥ rahāu ॥

हरि हरि नामु दीओ कीरतन कउ भई हमारी गाति ॥ रहाउ ॥

He has blessed me with the Kirtan of the Praises of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and I am emancipated. ||Pause||

ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਪਾਤਿ ॥

aṅgīkāru kīō prabhi apunai bhagtan kī rākhī pāti ॥

अंगीकारु कीओ प्रभि अपुनै भगतन की राखी पाति ॥

My God has made me His own, and saved the honor of His devotee.

ਨਾਨਕ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੪੧॥

nānak charan gahē prabh apnē sukhu pāiō din rāti ॥2॥10॥41॥

नानक चरन गहे प्रभ अपने सुखु पाइओ दिन राति ॥२॥१०॥४१॥

Nanak has grasped the feet of his God, and has found peace, day and night. ||2||10||41||
