ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਇਆ ਮਨਿ ਉਦਮੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਈ ॥

सोरठि महला ५ ॥

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਇਆ ਮਨਿ ਉਦਮੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਈ ॥

sādhū saṅgi bhaiā mani udmu nāmu ratnu jasu gāī ॥

साधू संगि भइआ मनि उदमु नामु रतनु जसु गाई ॥

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, my mind became excited, and I sang the Praises of the jewel of the Naam.

ਮਿਟਿ ਗਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਅਨੰਤਾ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥

miṭi gaī chintā simri anntā sāgru tariā bhāī ॥1॥

मिटि गई चिंता सिमरि अनंता सागरु तरिआ भाई ॥१॥

My anxiety was dispelled, meditating in remembrance on the Infinite Lord; I have crossed over the world ocean, O Siblings of Destiny. ||1||

ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਵਸਾਈ ॥

hirdai hari kē charaṇ vasāī ॥

हिरदै हरि के चरण वसाई ॥

I enshrine the Lord's Feet within my heart.

ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਉਪਜੀ ਰੋਗਾ ਘਾਣਿ ਮਿਟਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sukhu pāiā sahaj dhuni upjī rōgā ghāṇi miṭāī ॥ rahāu ॥

सुखु पाइआ सहज धुनि उपजी रोगा घाणि मिटाई ॥ रहाउ ॥

I have found peace, and the celestial sound current resounds within me; countless diseases have been eradicated. ||Pause||

ਕਿਆ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਖਿ ਵਖਾਣਾ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥

kiā guṇ tērē ākhi vakhāṇā kīmti kahṇu na jāī ॥

किआ गुण तेरे आखि वखाणा कीमति कहणु न जाई ॥

Which of Your Glorious Virtues can I speak and describe? Your worth cannot be estimated.

ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤ ਭਏ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਭਇਆ ਸਹਾਈ ॥੨॥੧੩॥੪੧॥

nānak bhagat bhaē abināsī apunā prabhu bhaiā sahāī ॥2॥13॥41॥

नानक भगत भए अबिनासी अपुना प्रभु भइआ सहाई ॥२॥१३॥४१॥

O Nanak, the Lord's devotees become imperishable and immortal; their God becomes their friend and support. ||2||13||41||
