ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥

सारग महला ५ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥

rasnā rām kō jasu gāu ॥

रसना राम को जसु गाउ ॥

O my tongue, sing the Praises of the Lord.

ਆਨ ਸੁਆਦ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਭਲੋ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਆਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ān suād bisāri saglē bhalō nām suāu ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

आन सुआद बिसारि सगले भलो नाम सुआउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Abandon all other tastes and flavors; the taste of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is so sublime. ||1||Pause||

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਬਸਾਇ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਏਕ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਉ ॥

charan kamal basāi hirdai ēk siu liv lāu ॥

चरन कमल बसाइ हिरदै एक सिउ लिव लाउ ॥

Enshrine the Lord's Lotus Feet within your heart; let yourself be lovingly attuned to the One Lord.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਆਉ ॥੧॥

sādhsaṅgti hōhi nirmalu bahuṛi jōni na āu ॥1॥

साधसंगति होहि निरमलु बहुड़ि जोनि न आउ ॥१॥

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall become immaculate and pure; you shall not come to be reincarnated again. ||1||

ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂ ਨਿਥਾਵੇ ਥਾਉ ॥

jīu prān adhāru tērā tū nithāvē thāu ॥

जीउ प्रान अधारु तेरा तू निथावे थाउ ॥

You are the Support of the soul and the breath of life; You are the Home of the homeless.

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥੨॥੬੧॥੮੪॥

sāsi sāsi samāli hari hari nānak sad bali jāu ॥2॥61॥84॥

सासि सासि सम्‍ालि हरि हरि नानक सद बलि जाउ ॥२॥६१॥८४॥

With each and every breath, I dwell on the Lord, Har, Har; O Nanak, I am forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||61||84||
