ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਇਣ ॥

Todee, Fifth Mehl:

ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਇਣ ॥

rasnā guṇ gōpāl nidhi gāiṇ ॥

रसना गुण गोपाल निधि गाइण ॥

My tongue sings the Praises of the Lord of the world, the ocean of virtue.

ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜੁ ਰਹਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਪਲਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sānti sahju rahsu mani upjiō saglē dūkh palāiṇ ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

सांति सहजु रहसु मनि उपजिओ सगले दूख पलाइण ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Peace, tranquility, poise and delight well up in my mind, and all sorrows run away. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਮਾਗਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸੇਵਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਰਸਾਇਣ ॥

jō māghi sōī sōī pāvahi sēvi hari kē charaṇ rasāiṇ ॥

जो मागहि सोई सोई पावहि सेवि हरि के चरण रसाइण ॥

Whatever I ask for, I receive; I serve at the Lord's feet, the source of nectar.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਹਹੂ ਤੇ ਛੂਟਹਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਤਰਾਇਣ ॥੧॥

janam maraṇ duhhū tē chhūṭhi bhavjalu jagtu tarāiṇ ॥1॥

जनम मरण दुहहू ते छूटहि भवजलु जगतु तराइण ॥१॥

I am released from the bondage of birth and death, and so I cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||1||

ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਓ ਦਾਸ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਪਰਾਇਣ ॥

khōjat khōjat tatu bīchāriō dās gōvind parāiṇ ॥

खोजत खोजत ततु बीचारिओ दास गोविंद पराइण ॥

Searching and seeking, I have come to understand the essence of reality; the slave of the Lord of the Universe is dedicated to Him.

ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਖੇਮ ਚਾਹਹਿ ਜੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੦॥

abināsī khēm chāhhi jē nānak sadā simri nārāiṇ ॥2॥5॥10॥

अबिनासी खेम चाहहि जे नानक सदा सिमरि नाराइण ॥२॥५॥१०॥

If you desire eternal bliss, O Nanak, ever remember the Lord in meditation. ||2||5||10||
