ਪੰਥੁ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ਕਾਮਨੀ ਲੋਚਨ ਭਰੀ ਲੇ ਉਸਾਸਾ ॥

Gaurhee:

ਪੰਥੁ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ਕਾਮਨੀ ਲੋਚਨ ਭਰੀ ਲੇ ਉਸਾਸਾ ॥

panthu nihārai kāmnī lōchan bharī lē usāsā ॥

पंथु निहारै कामनी लोचन भरी ले उसासा ॥

The bride gazes at the path, and sighs with tearful eyes.

ਉਰ ਨ ਭੀਜੈ ਪਗੁ ਨਾ ਖਿਸੈ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀ ਆਸਾ ॥੧॥

ur na bhījai pagu nā khisai hari darsan kī āsā ॥1॥

उर न भीजै पगु ना खिसै हरि दरसन की आसा ॥१॥

Her heart is not happy, but she does not retrace her steps, in hopes of seeing the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||1||

ਉਡਹੁ ਨ ਕਾਗਾ ਕਾਰੇ ॥

uḍhu na kāgā kārē ॥

उडहु न कागा कारे ॥

So fly away, black crow,

ਬੇਗਿ ਮਿਲੀਜੈ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਰਾਮ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

bēgi milījai apunē rām piārē ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

बेगि मिलीजै अपुने राम पिआरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

So that I may quickly meet my Beloved Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦ ਕਾਰਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥

kahi kabīr jīvan pad kārni hari kī bhagti karījai ॥

कहि कबीर जीवन पद कारनि हरि की भगति करीजै ॥

Says Kabeer, to obtain the status of eternal life, worship the Lord with devotion.

ਏਕੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਾਰਾਇਨ ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵੀਜੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੪॥੬੫॥

ēku ādhāru nāmu nārāin rasnā rāmu ravījai ॥2॥1॥14॥65॥

एकु आधारु नामु नाराइन रसना रामु रवीजै ॥२॥१॥१४॥६५॥

The Name of the Lord is my only Support; with my tongue, I chant the Lord's Name. ||2||1||14||65||
