Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

prabh kī prīti sadā sukhu hōi ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति सदा सुखु होइ ॥

In the Love of God, eternal peace is obtained.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥

prabh kī prīti dukhu lagai na kōi ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति दुखु लगै न कोइ ॥

In the Love of God, one is not touched by pain.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਖੋਇ ॥

prabh kī prīti haumai malu khōi ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति हउमै मलु खोइ ॥

In the Love of God, the filth of ego is washed away.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥

prabh kī prīti sad nirmal hōi ॥1॥

प्रभ की प्रीति सद निरमल होइ ॥१॥

In the Love of God, one becomes forever immaculate. ||1||

ਸੁਨਹੁ ਮੀਤ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥

sunhu mīt aisā prēm piāru ॥

सुनहु मीत ऐसा प्रेम पिआरु ॥

Listen, O friend: show such love and affection to God,

ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jīa prān ghaṭ ghaṭ ādhāru ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जीअ प्रान घट घट आधारु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

The Support of the soul, the breath of life, of each and every heart. ||1||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਭਏ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥

prabh kī prīti bhaē sagal nidhān ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति भए सगल निधान ॥

In the Love of God, all treasures are obtained.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਾਮ ॥

prabh kī prīti ridai nirmal nām ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति रिदै निरमल नाम ॥

In the Love of God, the Immaculate Naam fills the heart.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤ ॥

prabh kī prīti sad sōbhāvant ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति सद सोभावंत ॥

In the Love of God, one is eternally embellished.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਭ ਮਿਟੀ ਹੈ ਚਿੰਤ ॥੨॥

prabh kī prīti sabh miṭī hai chint ॥2॥

प्रभ की प्रीति सभ मिटी है चिंत ॥२॥

In the Love of God, all anxiety is ended. ||2||

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਇਹੁ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਰੈ ॥

prabh kī prīti ihu bhavjalu tarai ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति इहु भवजलु तरै ॥

In the Love of God, one crosses over this terrible world-ocean.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਜਮ ਤੇ ਨਹੀ ਡਰੈ ॥

prabh kī prīti jam tē nahī ḍarai ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति जम ते नही डरै ॥

In the Love of God, one does not fear death.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਗਲ ਉਧਾਰੈ ॥

prabh kī prīti sagal udhārai ॥

प्रभ की प्रीति सगल उधारै ॥

In the Love of God, all are saved.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਚਲੈ ਸੰਗਾਰੈ ॥੩॥

prabh kī prīti chalai saṅgārai ॥3॥

प्रभ की प्रीति चलै संगारै ॥३॥

The Love of God shall go along with you. ||3||

ਆਪਹੁ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲੈ ਨ ਭੂਲੈ ॥

āpahu kōī milai na bhūlai ॥

आपहु कोई मिलै न भूलै ॥

By himself, no one is united, and no one goes astray.

ਜਿਸੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਘੂਲੈ ॥

jisu kripālu tisu sādhsaṅgi ghūlai ॥

जिसु क्रिपालु तिसु साधसंगि घूलै ॥

One who is blessed by God's Mercy, joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥

kahu nānak tērai kurbāṇu ॥

कहु नानक तेरै कुरबाणु ॥

Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to You.

ਸੰਤ ਓਟ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਤਾਣੁ ॥੪॥੩੪॥੮੫॥

sant ōṭ prabh tērā tāṇu ॥4॥34॥85॥

संत ओट प्रभ तेरा ताणु ॥४॥३४॥८५॥

O God, You are the Support and the Strength of the Saints. ||4||34||85||
