ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤ ਅਨਹਦ ਲਿਵਲਾਈ॥

prēm piālā sādhsaṅg sabad surat anhad livlāī॥

प्रेम पिआला साधसंग सबद सुरत अनहद लिवलाई॥

Quaffing the cup of love in the holy congregation, the Sikhs of Guru absorb their consciousness in the Word.

ਧਿਆਨ ਚੰਦ ਚਕੋਰ ਗਤਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਵਰਸਾਈ॥

dhiān chand chakōr gati ammrit drisaṭ srishaṭ varsāī॥

धिआन चंद चकोर गति अंम्रित द्रिसट स्रिशट वरसाई॥

As the bird chakor meditates on moon to enjoy cool, from their sight also pours the nectar.

ਘਨਹਰ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਕ ਮੋਰ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨ ਸੁਨ ਪਾਇਲ ਪਾਈ॥

ghanhar chātrak mōr jyōṃ anhad dhun sun pāil pāī॥

घनहर चात्रक मोर ज्यों अनहद धुन सुन पाइल पाई॥

Listening to the roar of clouds they dance like rain bird and peacock.

ਚਰਣ ਕਵਲ ਮਕਰੰਦ ਰਸ ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਟ ਹੁਇ ਭਵਰ ਸਮਾਈ॥

charaṇ kaval makrand ras sukh sampaṭ hui bhavar samāī॥

चरण कवल मकरंद रस सुख संपट हुइ भवर समाई॥

To taste the nectar of the lotus feet they turn themselves into the black bee and become one with the storehouse of delight (of the Lord).

ਸੁਖਸਾਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਮੀਨ ਹੋਇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਚਾਲ ਨ ਖੋਜ ਖੋਜਾਈ॥

sukhsāgar vic mīn hōi gurmukh chāl na khōj khōjāī॥

सुखसागर विच मीन होइ गुरमुख चाल न खोज खोजाई॥

The way of the gurmukhs is not known to anybody; similar to fish they live in the ocean of happiness.

ਅਪਿਉ ਪੀਅਣ ਨਿਝਰ ਝਰਣ ਅਜਰ ਜਰਣ ਅਲਖ ਲਖਾਈ॥

apiu pīaṇ nijhar jharaṇ ajar jaraṇ alakh lakhāī॥

अपिउ पीअण निझर झरण अजर जरण अलख लखाई॥

They drink nectar; from them gush forth the springs of nectar; they assimilate the unbearable but still they do not make them noticed by any one.

ਵੀਹ ਇਕੀਹ ਉਲੰਘ ਕੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਿਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਫਲ ਖਾਈ॥

vīh ikīh ulaṅgh kai gur sikhī gurmukh phal khāī॥

वीह इकीह उलंघ कै गुर सिखी गुरमुख फल खाई॥

Going across all the stages (of three-dimensional nature-prakarti) they attain the fruits of delights.

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੮॥

vāhigurū vaḍī vaḍiāī ॥8॥

वाहिगुरू वडी वडिआई ॥८॥

Wondrous is the Vaheguru whose greatness is grand.
