ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥

Maaroo, Fifth Mehl:

ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥

patit udhāran tāran bali bali balē bali jāīai ॥

पतित उधारन तारन बलि बलि बले बलि जाईऐ ॥

The Redeemer of sinners, who carries us across; I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to Him.

ਐਸਾ ਕੋਈ ਭੇਟੈ ਸੰਤੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੧॥

aisā kōī bhēṭai santu jitu hari harē hari dhiāīai ॥1॥

ऐसा कोई भेटै संतु जितु हरि हरे हरि धिआईऐ ॥१॥

If only I could meet with such a Saint, who would inspire me to meditate on the Lord, Har, Har, Har. ||1||

ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਨਤ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥

mō kau kōi na jānat kahīat dāsu tumārā ॥

मो कउ कोइ न जानत कहीअत दासु तुमारा ॥

No one knows me; I am called Your slave.

ਏਹਾ ਓਟ ਆਧਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ēhā ōṭ ādhārā ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

एहा ओट आधारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

This is my support and sustenance. ||1||Pause||

ਸਰਬ ਧਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਨਉ ਦੀਨਾ ॥

sarab dhāran pratipāran ik binau dīnā ॥

सरब धारन प्रतिपारन इक बिनउ दीना ॥

You support and cherish all; I am meek and humble - this is my only prayer.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਤੁਮ ਜਲ ਹਮ ਮੀਨਾ ॥੨॥

tumrī bidhi tum hī jānhu tum jal ham mīnā ॥2॥

तुमरी बिधि तुम ही जानहु तुम जल हम मीना ॥२॥

You alone know Your Way; You are the water, and I am the fish. ||2||

ਪੂਰਨ ਬਿਸਥੀਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਹਿ ਆਇਓ ਪਾਛੈ ॥

pūran bisthīran suāmī āhi āiō pāchhai ॥

पूरन बिसथीरन सुआमी आहि आइओ पाछै ॥

O Perfect and Expansive Lord and Master, I follow You in love.

ਸਗਲੋ ਭੂ ਮੰਡਲ ਖੰਡਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਆਛੈ ॥੩॥

saglō bhū maṇḍal khaṇḍal prabh tum hī āchhai ॥3॥

सगलो भू मंडल खंडल प्रभ तुम ही आछै ॥३॥

O God, You are pervading all the worlds, solar systems and galaxies. ||3||

ਅਟਲ ਅਖਇਓ ਦੇਵਾ ਮੋਹਨ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥

aṭal akhaiō dēvā mōhan alakh apārā ॥

अटल अखइओ देवा मोहन अलख अपारा ॥

You are eternal and unchanging, imperishable, invisible and infinite, O divine fascinating Lord.

ਦਾਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਸੰਤਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੇਨੁ ਦਾਸਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੬॥੨੨॥

dānu pāvau santā saṅgu nānak rēnu dāsārā ॥4॥6॥22॥

दानु पावउ संता संगु नानक रेनु दासारा ॥४॥६॥२२॥

Please bless Nanak with the gift of the Society of the Saints, and the dust of the feet of Your slaves. ||4||6||22||
