ਨੈਨੀ ਦੇਖਉ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਥਾ ॥

ਨੈਨੀ ਦੇਖਉ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਥਾ ॥

nainī dēkhau gur darsanō gur charṇī mathā ॥

नैनी देखउ गुर दरसनो गुर चरणी मथा ॥

With my eyes, I gaze upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan; I touch my forehead to the Guru's feet.

ਪੈਰੀ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਗੁਰ ਚਲਦਾ ਪਖਾ ਫੇਰੀ ਹਥਾ ॥

pairī mārgi gur chaldā pakhā phērī hathā ॥

पैरी मारगि गुर चलदा पखा फेरी हथा ॥

With my feet I walk on the Guru's Path; with my hands, I wave the fan over Him.

ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਧਿਆਇਦਾ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਜਪੰਥਾ ॥

akāl mūrti ridai dhiāidā dinu raini japnthā ॥

अकाल मूरति रिदै धिआइदा दिनु रैनि जपंथा ॥

I meditate on Akaal Moorat, the undying form, within my heart; day and night, I meditate on Him.

ਮੈ ਛਡਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਅਪਾਇਣੋ ਭਰਵਾਸੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਮਰਥਾ ॥

mai chhaḍiā sagal apāiṇō bharvāsai gur samrathā ॥

मै छडिआ सगल अपाइणो भरवासै गुर समरथा ॥

I have renounced all possessiveness, and have placed my faith in the all-powerful Guru.

ਗੁਰਿ ਬਖਸਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਭੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਥਾ ॥

guri bakhsiā nāmu nidhānu sabhō dukhu lathā ॥

गुरि बखसिआ नामु निधानु सभो दुखु लथा ॥

The Guru has blessed me with the treasure of the Naam; I am rid of all sufferings.

ਭੋਗਹੁ ਭੁੰਚਹੁ ਭਾਈਹੋ ਪਲੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਗਥਾ ॥

bhōghu bhuñchhu bhāīhō palai nāmu agthā ॥

भोगहु भुंचहु भाईहो पलै नामु अगथा ॥

Eat and enjoy the Naam, the Name of the indescribable Lord, O Siblings of Destiny.

ਨਾਮੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ਦਿੜੁ ਸਦਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਕਥਾ ॥

nāmu dānu isnānu diṛu sadā karahu gur kathā ॥

नामु दानु इसनानु दिड़ु सदा करहु गुर कथा ॥

Confirm your faith in the Naam, charity and self-purification; chant the Guru's sermon forever.

ਸਹਜੁ ਭਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਮ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਲਥਾ ॥੨੦॥

sahju bhaiā prabhu pāiā jam kā bhau lathā ॥20॥

सहजु भइआ प्रभु पाइआ जम का भउ लथा ॥२०॥

Blessed with intuitive poise, I have found God; I am rid of the fear of the Messenger of Death. ||20||
