ਨਾਥ ਕਛੂਅ ਨ ਜਾਨਉ ॥

ਜੈਤਸਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਭਗਤਾ ਕੀ

जैतसरी बाणी भगता की

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ik-ōṅkār satigur prasādi ॥

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਨਾਥ ਕਛੂਅ ਨ ਜਾਨਉ ॥

nāth kachhūa na jānau ॥

नाथ कछूअ न जानउ ॥

O my Lord and Master, I know nothing.

ਮਨੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੈ ਹਾਥਿ ਬਿਕਾਨਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

manu māiā kai hāthi bikānau ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

मनु माइआ कै हाथि बिकानउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

My mind has sold out, and is in Maya's hands. ||1||Pause||

ਤੁਮ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੌ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥

tum kahīat hau jagat gur suāmī ॥

तुम कहीअत हौ जगत गुर सुआमी ॥

You are called the Lord and Master, the Guru of the World.

ਹਮ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਕੇ ਕਾਮੀ ॥੧॥

ham kahīat kalijug kē kāmī ॥1॥

हम कहीअत कलिजुग के कामी ॥१॥

I am called a lustful being of the Dark Age of Kali Yuga. ||1||

ਇਨ ਪੰਚਨ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁ ਜੁ ਬਿਗਾਰਿਓ ॥

in pañchan mērō manu ju bigāriō ॥

इन पंचन मेरो मनु जु बिगारिओ ॥

The five vices have corrupted my mind.

ਪਲੁ ਪਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਪਾਰਿਓ ॥੨॥

palu palu hari jī tē antru pāriō ॥2॥

पलु पलु हरि जी ते अंतरु पारिओ ॥२॥

Moment by moment, they lead me further away from the Lord. ||2||

ਜਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਦੁਖ ਕੀ ਰਾਸੀ ॥

jat dēkhau tat dukh kī rāsī ॥

जत देखउ तत दुख की रासी ॥

Wherever I look, I see loads of pain and suffering.

ਅਜੌਂ ਨ ਪਤ੍ਹਾਇ ਨਿਗਮ ਭਏ ਸਾਖੀ ॥੩॥

ajauṃ na pathāi nigam bhaē sākhī ॥3॥

अजौं न पत्हाइ निगम भए साखी ॥३॥

I do not have faith, even though the Vedas bear witness to the Lord. ||3||

ਗੋਤਮ ਨਾਰਿ ਉਮਾਪਤਿ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ॥ ਸੀਸੁ ਧਰਨਿ ਸਹਸ ਭਗ ਗਾਂਮੀ ॥੪॥

gōtam nāri umāpti svāmī ॥ sīsu dharni sahas bhag gāmmī ॥4॥

गोतम नारि उमापति स्वामी ॥ सीसु धरनि सहस भग गांमी ॥४॥

Shiva cut off Brahma's head, and Gautam's wife and the Lord Indra mated; Brahma's head got stuck to Shiva's hand, and Indra came to bear the marks of a thousand female organs. ||4||

ਇਨ ਦੂਤਨ ਖਲੁ ਬਧੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਓ ॥

in dūtan khalu badhu kari māriō ॥

इन दूतन खलु बधु करि मारिओ ॥

These demons have fooled, bound and destroyed me.

ਬਡੋ ਨਿਲਾਜੁ ਅਜਹੂ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਰਿਓ ॥੫॥

baḍō nilāju ajhū nahī hāriō ॥5॥

बडो निलाजु अजहू नही हारिओ ॥५॥

I am very shameless - even now, I am not tired of them. ||5||

ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕਹਾ ਕੈਸੇ ਕੀਜੈ ॥

kahi ravidās kahā kaisē kījai ॥

कहि रविदास कहा कैसे कीजै ॥

Says Ravi Daas, what am I to do now?

ਬਿਨੁ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਸਰਨਿ ਕਾ ਕੀ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੬॥੧॥

binu raghunāth sarni kā kī lījai ॥6॥1॥

बिनु रघुनाथ सरनि का की लीजै ॥६॥१॥

Without the Sanctuary of the Lord's Protection, who else's should I seek? ||6||1||
