Goojaree, Fifth Mehl:

ਮੁਨਿ ਜੋਗੀ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਗਿ ਕਹਾਵਤ ਸਭ ਕੀਨ੍‍ੇ ਬਸਿ ਅਪਨਹੀ ॥

muni jōgī sāstragi kahāvat sabh kīnē basi apnahī ॥

मुनि जोगी सासत्रगि कहावत सभ कीन्‍े बसि अपनही ॥

They call themselves silent sages, Yogis and scholars of the Shaastras, but Maya has has them all under her control.

ਤੀਨਿ ਦੇਵ ਅਰੁ ਕੋੜਿ ਤੇਤੀਸਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਹੈਰਤਿ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਰਹੀ ॥੧॥

tīni dēv aru kōṛi tētīsā tin kī hairti kachhu na rahī ॥1॥

तीनि देव अरु कोड़ि तेतीसा तिन की हैरति कछु न रही ॥१॥

The three gods, and the 330,000,000 demi-gods, were astonished. ||1||

ਬਲਵੰਤਿ ਬਿਆਪਿ ਰਹੀ ਸਭ ਮਹੀ ॥

balvanti biāpi rahī sabh mahī ॥

बलवंति बिआपि रही सभ मही ॥

The power of Maya is pervading everywhere.

ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਕੋਊ ਮਰਮਾ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਲਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

avru na jānsi kōū marmā gur kirpā tē lahī ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

अवरु न जानसि कोऊ मरमा गुर किरपा ते लही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Her secret is known only by Guru's Grace - no one else knows it. ||1||Pause||

ਜੀਤਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਜੀਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਥਾਨਾ ਸਗਲ ਭਵਨ ਲਪਟਹੀ ॥

jīti jīti jītē sabhi thānā sagal bhavan lapaṭhī ॥

जीति जीति जीते सभि थाना सगल भवन लपटही ॥

Conquering and conquering, she has conquered everywhere, and she clings to the whole world.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਤੇ ਭਾਗੀ ਹੋਇ ਚੇਰੀ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੀ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੪॥

kahu nānak sādh tē bhāgī hōi chērī charan gahī ॥2॥5॥14॥

कहु नानक साध ते भागी होइ चेरी चरन गही ॥२॥५॥१४॥

Says Nanak, she surrenders to the Holy Saint; becoming his servant, she falls at his feet. ||2||5||14||
