ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਲਗੋ ਗੁਰ ਮੀਠਾ ॥

सारग महला ५ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਲਗੋ ਗੁਰ ਮੀਠਾ ॥

mērai mani sabdu lagō gur mīṭhā ॥

मेरै मनि सबदु लगो गुर मीठा ॥

The Word of the Guru's Shabad seems so sweet to my mind.

ਖੁਲ੍‍ਓਿ ਕਰਮੁ ਭਇਓ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

khul‍i karmu bhaiō pargāsā ghaṭi ghaṭi hari hari ḍīṭhā ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

खुल्‍ओि करमु भइओ परगासा घटि घटि हरि हरि डीठा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

My karma has been activated, and the Divine Radiance of the Lord, Har, Har, is manifest in each and every heart. ||1||Pause||

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਆਜੋਨੀ ਸੰਭਉ ਸਰਬ ਥਾਨ ਘਟ ਬੀਠਾ ॥

pārbraham ājōnī sambhau sarab thān ghaṭ bīṭhā ॥

पारब्रहम आजोनी संभउ सरब थान घट बीठा ॥

The Supreme Lord God, beyond birth, Self-existent, is seated within every heart everywhere.

ਭਇਓ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣੀਠਾ ॥੧॥

bhaiō parāpti ammrit nāmā bali bali prabh charṇīṭhā ॥1॥

भइओ परापति अंम्रित नामा बलि बलि प्रभ चरणीठा ॥१॥

I have come to obtain the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Lotus Feet of God. ||1||

ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀ ਰੇਣੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਗੀ ਕੀਏ ਸਗਲ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੀਠਾ ॥

satsaṅgti kī rēṇu mukhi lāgī kīē sagal tīrath majnīṭhā ॥

सतसंगति की रेणु मुखि लागी कीए सगल तीरथ मजनीठा ॥

I anoint my forehead with the dust of the Society of the Saints; it is as if I have bathed at all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲ ਭਏ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਹੈ ਮਜੀਠਾ ॥੨॥੧੯॥੪੨॥

kahu nānak raṅgi chalūl bhaē hai hari raṅgu na lahai majīṭhā ॥2॥19॥42॥

कहु नानक रंगि चलूल भए है हरि रंगु न लहै मजीठा ॥२॥१९॥४२॥

Says Nanak, I am dyed in the deep crimson color of His Love; the Love of my Lord shall never fade away. ||2||19||42||
