ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮ ਅਮੋਲ ਹੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਮੋਲਿ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗ ਪਾਏ॥

ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮ ਅਮੋਲ ਹੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਮੋਲਿ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗ ਪਾਏ॥

māṇas janam amōl hai hōi amōli sādh saṅg pāē॥

माणस जनम अमोल है होइ अमोलि साध संग पाए॥

Human life is invaluable and by being born man gets the company of the holy congregation.

ਅਖੀਂ ਦੁਇ ਨਿਰਮੋਲਕਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦਰਸ ਧ੍ਯਾਨ ਲਿਵਲਾਏ॥

akhīṃ dui nirmōlkā satigur daras dhyān livlāē॥

अखीं दुइ निरमोलका सतिगुर दरस ध्यान लिवलाए॥

Both the eyes are invaluable who behold the true Guru and concentrating upon the Guru remain immersed in Him.

ਮਸਤਕ ਸੀਸ ਅਮੋਲ ਹੈ ਚਰਣ ਸਰਣ ਗੁਰੁ ਧੂੜ ਸੁਹਾਏ॥

masatak sīs amōl hai charaṇ saraṇ guru dhūṛ suhāē॥

मसतक सीस अमोल है चरण सरण गुरु धूड़ सुहाए॥

The forehead is also invaluable which remaining in the shelter of the feet of the Guru adorns itself with the dust of the Guru.

ਜਿਹਬਾ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਅਮੋਲਕਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸੁਣ ਸਮਝ ਸੁਣਾਏ॥

jihbā sravaṇ amōlkā shabad surti suṇ samajh suṇāē॥

जिहबा स्रवण अमोलका शबद सुरति सुण समझ सुणाए॥

Tongue and ears are also invaluable which carefully understanding and listening to the Word make other people also understand and listen.

ਹਸਤ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਰਮੋਲਕਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮਾਰਗ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਏ॥

hasat charan nirmōlkā gurmukh mārag sēv kamāē॥

हसत चरन निरमोलका गुरमुख मारग सेव कमाए॥

Hands and feet are also invaluable which move on the way of becoming gurmukh and perform service.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਰਿਦਾ ਅਮੋਲ ਹੈ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਰੁ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਵਸਾਏ॥

gurmukh ridā amōl hai andar guru updēsh vasāē॥

गुरमुख रिदा अमोल है अंदर गुरु उपदेश वसाए॥

Invaluable is the heart of gurmukh wherein resides the teaching of the Guru.

ਪਤਿ ਪਰਵਾਣੈ ਤੋਲ ਤੋਲਾਏ ॥੧੭॥

pati parvāṇai tōl tōlāē ॥17॥

पति परवाणै तोल तोलाए ॥१७॥

Whosoever becomes equal to such gurmukhs, is respected in the court of the Lord.
