ਲੋੜੀਦੜਾ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

Jaitsree, Fifth Mehl:

ਲੋੜੀਦੜਾ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

lōṛīdṛā sājnu mērā ॥

लोड़ीदड़ा साजनु मेरा ॥

I seek my Friend the Lord.

ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨੀਕੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ghari ghari maṅgal gāvhu nīkē ghaṭi ghaṭi tishi basērā ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

घरि घरि मंगल गावहु नीके घटि घटि तिसहि बसेरा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

In each and every home, sing the sublime songs of rejoicing; He abides in each and every heart. ||1||Pause||

ਸੂਖਿ ਅਰਾਧਨੁ ਦੂਖਿ ਅਰਾਧਨੁ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਬੇਰਾ ॥

sūkhi arādhnu dūkhi arādhnu bisrai na kāhū bērā ॥

सूखि अराधनु दूखि अराधनु बिसरै न काहू बेरा ॥

In good times, worship and adore Him; in bad times, worship and adore Him; do not ever forget Him.

ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਕੋਟਿ ਸੂਰ ਉਜਾਰਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥੧॥

nāmu japat kōṭi sūr ujārā binsai bharmu andhērā ॥1॥

नामु जपत कोटि सूर उजारा बिनसै भरमु अंधेरा ॥१॥

Chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the light of millions of suns shines forth, and the darkness of doubt is dispelled. ||1||

ਥਾਨਿ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਸਭਨੀ ਜਾਈ ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

thāni thanntari sabhnī jāī jō dīsai sō tērā ॥

थानि थनंतरि सभनी जाई जो दीसै सो तेरा ॥

In all the spaces and interspaces, everywhere, whatever we see is Yours.

ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਜੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਫੇਰਾ ॥੨॥੩॥੪॥

santsaṅgi pāvai jō nānak tisu bahuri na hōī hai phērā ॥2॥3॥4॥

संतसंगि पावै जो नानक तिसु बहुरि न होई है फेरा ॥२॥३॥४॥

One who finds the Society of the Saints, O Nanak, is not consigned to reincarnation again. ||2||3||4||
