ਕਬੀਰ ਚੰਦਨ ਕਾ ਬਿਰਵਾ ਭਲਾ ਬੇੜ੍‍ਓਿ ਢਾਕ ਪਲਾਸ ॥

  1. ਕਬੀਰ ਚੰਦਨ ਕਾ ਬਿਰਵਾ ਭਲਾ ਬੇੜ੍‍ਓਿ ਢਾਕ ਪਲਾਸ ॥

    kabīr chandan kā birvā bhalā bēṛ‍i ḍhāk palās ॥

    कबीर चंदन का बिरवा भला बेड़्‍ओि ढाक पलास ॥

    Kabeer, the sandalwood tree is good, even though it is surrounded by weeds.

  2. ਓਇ ਭੀ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੇ ਬਸੇ ਜੁ ਚੰਦਨ ਪਾਸਿ ॥੧੧॥

    ōi bhī chandnu hōi rahē basē ju chandan pāsi ॥11॥

    ओइ भी चंदनु होइ रहे बसे जु चंदन पासि ॥११॥

    Those who dwell near the sandalwood tree, become just like the sandalwood tree. ||11||
