ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਸੋਚਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਚਿਤਵਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਹਿ ਉਪਾਏ ॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥

ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਸੋਚਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਚਿਤਵਹਿ ਕਿਆ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਹਿ ਉਪਾਏ ॥

kiā tū sōchhi kiā tū chitvahi kiā tūṃ karahi upāē ॥

किआ तू सोचहि किआ तू चितवहि किआ तूं करहि उपाए ॥

What are you so worried about? What are you thinking? What have you tried?

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕਹਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੀ ਜਿਹ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਸਹਾਏ ॥੧॥

tā kau kahhu parvāh kāhū kī jih gōpāl sahāē ॥1॥

ता कउ कहहु परवाह काहू की जिह गोपाल सहाए ॥१॥

Tell me - the Lord of the Universe - who controls Him? ||1||

ਬਰਸੈ ਮੇਘੁ ਸਖੀ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਹੁਨ ਆਏ ॥

barsai mēghu sakhī ghari pāhun āē ॥

बरसै मेघु सखी घरि पाहुन आए ॥

The rain showers down from the clouds, O companion. The Guest has come into my home.

ਮੋਹਿ ਦੀਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

mōhi dīn kripā nidhi ṭhākur nav nidhi nāmi samāē ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

मोहि दीन क्रिपा निधि ठाकुर नव निधि नामि समाए ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

I am meek; my Lord and Master is the Ocean of Mercy. I am absorbed in the nine treasures of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਹੁ ਕੀਏ ਬਹੁ ਬਿੰਜਨ ਮਿਸਟਾਏ ॥

anik prakār bhōjan bahu kīē bahu biñjan misṭāē ॥

अनिक प्रकार भोजन बहु कीए बहु बिंजन मिसटाए ॥

I have prepared all sorts of foods in various ways, and all sorts of sweet deserts.

ਕਰੀ ਪਾਕਸਾਲ ਸੋਚ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਹੁਣਿ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਭੋਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਏ ॥੨॥

karī pāksāl sōc pavitrā huṇi lāvhu bhōgu hari rāē ॥2॥

करी पाकसाल सोच पवित्रा हुणि लावहु भोगु हरि राए ॥२॥

I have made my kitchen pure and sacred. Now, O my Sovereign Lord King, please sample my food. ||2||

ਦੁਸਟ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਰਹਸੇ ਇਹਿ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਘਰ ਅਪਨਾਏ ॥

dusaṭ bidārē sājan rahsē ihi mandir ghar apnāē ॥

दुसट बिदारे साजन रहसे इहि मंदिर घर अपनाए ॥

The villains have been destroyed, and my friends are delighted. This is Your Own Mansion and Temple, O Lord.

ਜਉ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਲਾਲੁ ਰੰਗੀਓ ਆਇਆ ਤਉ ਮੈ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ॥੩॥

jau grihi lālu raṅgīō āiā tau mai sabhi sukh pāē ॥3॥

जउ ग्रिहि लालु रंगीओ आइआ तउ मै सभि सुख पाए ॥३॥

When my Playful Beloved came into my household, then I found total peace. ||3||

ਸੰਤ ਸਭਾ ਓਟ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਧੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਾਏ ॥

sant sabhā ōṭ gur pūrē dhuri masatki lēkhu likhāē ॥

संत सभा ओट गुर पूरे धुरि मसतकि लेखु लिखाए ॥

In the Society of the Saints, I have the Support and Protection of the Perfect Guru; this is the pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon my forehead.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੰਤੁ ਰੰਗੀਲਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਏ ॥੪॥੧॥

jan nānak kantu raṅgīlā pāiā phiri dūkhu na lāgai āē ॥4॥1॥

जन नानक कंतु रंगीला पाइआ फिरि दूखु न लागै आए ॥४॥१॥

Servant Nanak has found his Playful Husband Lord. He shall never suffer in sorrow again. ||4||1||
