ਖਸਮੈ ਕੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ਢਾਢੀ ਵਸਿਆ ॥

khasmai kai darbāri ḍhāḍhī vasiā ॥

खसमै कै दरबारि ढाढी वसिआ ॥

In the Court of the Lord and Master, His minstrels dwell.

ਸਚਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਕਲਾਣਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਵਿਗਸਿਆ ॥

sachā khasmu kalāṇi kamlu vigsiā ॥

सचा खसमु कलाणि कमलु विगसिआ ॥

Singing the Praises of their True Lord and Master, the lotuses of their hearts have blossomed forth.

ਖਸਮਹੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇ ਮਨਹੁ ਰਹਸਿਆ ॥

khasmahu pūrā pāi manhu rahsiā ॥

खसमहु पूरा पाइ मनहु रहसिआ ॥

Obtaining their Perfect Lord and Master, their minds are transfixed with ecstasy.

ਦੁਸਮਨ ਕਢੇ ਮਾਰਿ ਸਜਣ ਸਰਸਿਆ ॥

dusman kaḍhē māri sajaṇ sarasiā ॥

दुसमन कढे मारि सजण सरसिआ ॥

Their enemies have been driven out and subdued, and their friends are very pleased.

ਸਚਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸਚਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਦਸਿਆ ॥

sachā satiguru sēvni sachā mārgu dasiā ॥

सचा सतिगुरु सेवनि सचा मारगु दसिआ ॥

Those who serve the Truthful True Guru are shown the True Path.

ਸਚਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਕਾਲੁ ਵਿਧਉਸਿਆ ॥

sachā sabdu bīchāri kālu vidhausiā ॥

सचा सबदु बीचारि कालु विधउसिआ ॥

Reflecting on the True Word of the Shabad, death is overcome.

ਢਾਢੀ ਕਥੇ ਅਕਥੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥

ḍhāḍhī kathē akthu sabdi savāriā ॥

ढाढी कथे अकथु सबदि सवारिआ ॥

Speaking the Unspoken Speech of the Lord, one is adorned with the Word of His Shabad.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਣ ਗਹਿ ਰਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ॥੨੩॥

nānak guṇ gahi rāsi hari jīu milē piāriā ॥23॥

नानक गुण गहि रासि हरि जीउ मिले पिआरिआ ॥२३॥

Nanak holds tight to the Treasure of Virtue, and meets with the Dear, Beloved Lord. ||23||
