khūbu khūbu khūbu khūbu khūbu tērō nāmu ॥

खूबु खूबु खूबु खूबु खूबु तेरो नामु ॥

Excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent is Your Name.

ਝੂਠੁ ਝੂਠੁ ਝੂਠੁ ਝੂਠੁ ਦੁਨੀ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jhūṭhu jhūṭhu jhūṭhu jhūṭhu dunī gumānu ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

झूठु झूठु झूठु झूठु दुनी गुमानु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

False, false, false, false is pride in the world. ||1||Pause||

ਨਗਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥

nagaj tērē bandē dīdāru apāru ॥

नगज तेरे बंदे दीदारु अपारु ॥

The glorious vision of Your slaves, O Infinite Lord, is wonderful and beauteous.

ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਭ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਛਾਰੁ ॥੧॥

nām binā sabh dunīā chhāru ॥1॥

नाम बिना सभ दुनीआ छारु ॥१॥

Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the whole world is just ashes. ||1||

ਅਚਰਜੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਦਮ ਸਲਾਹ ॥

acraju tērī kudrati tērē kadam salāh ॥

अचरजु तेरी कुदरति तेरे कदम सलाह ॥

Your Creative Power is marvellous, and Your Lotus Feet are admirable.

ਗਨੀਵ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫਤਿ ਸਚੇ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ॥੨॥

ganīv tērī siphti sachē pātisāh ॥2॥

गनीव तेरी सिफति सचे पातिसाह ॥२॥

Your Praise is priceless, O True King. ||2||

ਨੀਧਰਿਆ ਧਰ ਪਨਹ ਖੁਦਾਇ ॥

nīdhriā dhar panah khudāi ॥

नीधरिआ धर पनह खुदाइ ॥

God is the Support of the unsupported.

ਗਰੀਬ ਨਿਵਾਜੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੩॥

garīb nivāju dinu raiṇi dhiāi ॥3॥

गरीब निवाजु दिनु रैणि धिआइ ॥३॥

Meditate day and night on the Cherisher of the meek and humble. ||3||

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਖੁਦਿ ਖਸਮ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ॥

nānak kau khudi khasam miharvān ॥

नानक कउ खुदि खसम मिहरवान ॥

God has been merciful to Nanak.

ਅਲਹੁ ਨ ਵਿਸਰੈ ਦਿਲ ਜੀਅ ਪਰਾਨ ॥੪॥੧੦॥

alhu na visrai dil jīa parān ॥4॥10॥

अलहु न विसरै दिल जीअ परान ॥४॥१०॥

May I never forget God; He is my heart, my soul, my breath of life. ||4||10||
