ਕੇਵਡੁ ਇਕੁ ਕਵਾਉ ਪਸਾਉ ਕਰਾਇਆ॥

kēvḍu iku kavāu pasāu karāiā॥

केवडु इकु कवाउ पसाउ कराइआ॥

How great is His one vibration which has created the whole expanse of the world!

ਕੇਵਡੁ ਕੰਡਾ ਤੋਲੁ ਤੋਲਿ ਤੁਲਾਇਆ॥

केवडु कंडा तोलु तोलि तुलाइआ॥

How big is His weighing hook that it has sustained the whole creation!

ਕਰਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਕਰੋੜਿ ਕਵਾਉ ਵਧਾਇਆ॥

kari brahmaṇḍ karōṛi kavāu vadhāiā॥

करि ब्रहमंड करोड़ि कवाउ वधाइआ॥

Creating crores of universes He has spread around His power of speech.

ਲਖ ਲਖ ਧਰਤਿ ਅਗਾਸਿ ਅਧਰ ਧਰਾਇਆ॥

lakh lakh dharti agāsi adhar dharāiā॥

लख लख धरति अगासि अधर धराइआ॥

Lakhs of earths and skies He kept hanging without support.

ਪਉਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਲਖ ਉਪਾਇਆ॥

pauṇu pāṇī baisntaru lakh upāiā॥

पउणु पाणी बैसंतरु लख उपाइआ॥

Million types of airs, waters and fires He created.

ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਜੋਨਿ ਖੇਲੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ॥

lakh chaurāsīh jōni khēlu rachāiā॥

लख चउरासीह जोनि खेलु रचाइआ॥

He created the game of eighty four lakhs of species.

ਜੋਨਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਅੰਤ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ॥

jōni jōni jīa jant ant na pāiā॥

जोनि जोनि जीअ जंत अंत न पाइआ॥

No end is known of the creatures of even one species.

ਸਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਅਲੇਖ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੯॥

siri siri lēkhu likhāi alēkh dhiāiā ॥9॥

सिरि सिरि लेखु लिखाइ अलेख धिआइआ ॥९॥

He has engraved writ on the forehead of all so that they all meditate upon the Lord who is beyond writ.
