ਕੀਨ੍‍ੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੇ ਬਹੁ ਕੋਟ ॥

सारग महला ५ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਕੀਨ੍‍ੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੇ ਬਹੁ ਕੋਟ ॥

kīnē pāp kē bahu kōṭ ॥

कीन्‍े पाप के बहु कोट ॥

He commits many millions of sins.

ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਨੀ ਥਕਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਤਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਛੋਟ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

dinsu rainī thakat nāhī katahi nāhī chhōṭ ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

दिनसु रैनी थकत नाही कतहि नाही छोट ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Day and night, he does not get tired of them, and he never finds release. ||1||Pause||

ਮਹਾ ਬਜਰ ਬਿਖ ਬਿਆਧੀ ਸਿਰਿ ਉਠਾਈ ਪੋਟ ॥

mahā bajar bikh biādhī siri uṭhāī pōṭ ॥

महा बजर बिख बिआधी सिरि उठाई पोट ॥

He carries on his head a terrible, heavy load of sin and corruption.

ਉਘਰਿ ਗਈਆਂ ਖਿਨਹਿ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਜਮਹਿ ਗ੍ਰਾਸੇ ਝੋਟ ॥੧॥

ughri gaīāṃ khinhi bhītri jamhi grāsē jhōṭ ॥1॥

उघरि गईआं खिनहि भीतरि जमहि ग्रासे झोट ॥१॥

In an instant, he is exposed. The Messenger of Death seizes him by his hair. ||1||

ਪਸੁ ਪਰੇਤ ਉਸਟ ਗਰਧਭ ਅਨਿਕ ਜੋਨੀ ਲੇਟ ॥

pasu parēt usaṭ gardhabh anik jōnī lēṭ ॥

पसु परेत उसट गरधभ अनिक जोनी लेट ॥

He is consigned to countless forms of reincarnation, into beasts, ghosts, camels and donkeys.

ਭਜੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਫੇਟ ॥੨॥੮੧॥੧੦੪॥

bhaju sādhsaṅgi gōbind nānak kachhu na lāgai phēṭ ॥2॥81॥104॥

भजु साधसंगि गोबिंद नानक कछु न लागै फेट ॥२॥८१॥१०४॥

Vibrating and meditating on the Lord of the Universe in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, you shall never be struck or harmed at all. ||2||81||104||
