ਕਾਜਲ ਫੂਲ ਤੰਬੋਲ ਰਸੁ ਲੇ ਧਨ ਕੀਆ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ॥

  2. ਕਾਜਲ ਫੂਲ ਤੰਬੋਲ ਰਸੁ ਲੇ ਧਨ ਕੀਆ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ॥

    kājal phūl tambōl rasu lē dhan kīā sīgāru ॥

    काजल फूल तंबोल रसु ले धन कीआ सीगारु ॥

    The wife takes flowers, and fragrance of betel, and decorates herself.

  3. ਸੇਜੈ ਕੰਤੁ ਨ ਆਇਓ ਏਵੈ ਭਇਆ ਵਿਕਾਰੁ ॥੨॥

    sējai kantu na āiō ēvai bhaiā vikāru ॥2॥

    सेजै कंतु न आइओ एवै भइआ विकारु ॥२॥

    But her Husband Lord does not come to her bed, and so these efforts are useless. ||2||
