ਕਾਇਆ ਕੋਟੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ॥

ਕਾਇਆ ਕੋਟੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ॥

kāiā kōṭu apāru hai milṇā sañjōgī ॥

काइआ कोटु अपारु है मिलणा संजोगी ॥

The body is the fortress of the Infinite Lord; it is obtained only by destiny.

ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਸਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਆਪੇ ਰਸ ਭੋਗੀ ॥

kāiā andri āpi vasi rahiā āpē ras bhōgī ॥

काइआ अंदरि आपि वसि रहिआ आपे रस भोगी ॥

The Lord Himself dwells within the body; He Himself is the Enjoyer of pleasures.

ਆਪਿ ਅਤੀਤੁ ਅਲਿਪਤੁ ਹੈ ਨਿਰਜੋਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੋਗੀ ॥

āpi atītu aliptu hai nirjōgu hari jōgī ॥

आपि अतीतु अलिपतु है निरजोगु हरि जोगी ॥

He Himself remains detached and unaffected; while unattached, He is still attached.

ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਗੀ ॥

jō tisu bhāvai sō karē hari karē su hōgī ॥

जो तिसु भावै सो करे हरि करे सु होगी ॥

He does whatever He pleases, and whatever He does, comes to pass.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਵਿਜੋਗੀ ॥੧੩॥

hari gurmukhi nāmu dhiāīai lahi jāhi vijōgī ॥13॥

हरि गुरमुखि नामु धिआईऐ लहि जाहि विजोगी ॥१३॥

The Gurmukh meditates on the Lord's Name, and separation from the Lord is ended. ||13||
