ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਕਿਆ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਹਿ ਹੋਰਿ ॥

jinī nāmu visāriā kiā japu jāphi hōri ॥

जिन्‍ी नामु विसारिआ किआ जपु जापहि होरि ॥

Those who forget the Naam, the Name of the Lord - so what if they chant other chants?

ਬਿਸਟਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਕੀਟ ਸੇ ਮੁਠੇ ਧੰਧੈ ਚੋਰਿ ॥

bisṭā andri kīṭ sē muṭhē dhandhai chōri ॥

बिसटा अंदरि कीट से मुठे धंधै चोरि ॥

They are maggots in manure, plundered by the thief of worldly entanglements.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ਝੂਠੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਹੋਰਿ ॥੨॥

nānak nāmu na vīsrai jhūṭhē lālac hōri ॥2॥

नानक नामु न वीसरै झूठे लालच होरि ॥२॥

O Nanak, never forget the Naam; greed for anything else is false. ||2||
