ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਰੀਰਿ ॥

  2. ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਰੀਰਿ ॥

    hari prabhu sajṇu nāmu hari mai mani tani nāmu sarīri ॥

    हरि प्रभु सजणु नामु हरि मै मनि तनि नामु सरीरि ॥

    The Name of the Lord God is my Best Friend. My mind and body are drenched with the Naam.

  3. ਸਭਿ ਆਸਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਧੀਰ ॥੨॥

    sabhi āsā gurmukhi pūrīā jan nānak suṇi hari dhīr ॥2॥

    सभि आसा गुरमुखि पूरीआ जन नानक सुणि हरि धीर ॥२॥

    All the hopes of the Gurmukh are fulfilled; servant Nanak is comforted, hearing the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||

  5. ਹਰਿ ਊਤਮੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਮਉਲਾ ॥

    hari ūtmu hariā nāmu hai hari purkhu nirñjanu maulā ॥

    हरि ऊतमु हरिआ नामु है हरि पुरखु निरंजनु मउला ॥

    The Lord's Sublime Name is energizing and rejuvenating. The Immaculate Lord, the Primal Being, blossoms forth.

  6. ਜੋ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਤਿਨ ਸੇਵੇ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਤ ਕਉਲਾ ॥

    jō japdē hari hari dinsu rāti tin sēvē charan nit kaulā ॥

    जो जपदे हरि हरि दिनसु राति तिन सेवे चरन नित कउला ॥

    Maya serves at the feet of those who chant and meditate on the Lord, Har, Har, day and night.

  7. ਨਿਤ ਸਾਰਿ ਸਮਾਲ੍‍ੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਹਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਸਭ ਜਉਲਾ ॥

    nit sāri samālē sabh jīa jant hari vasai nikṭi sabh jaulā ॥

    नित सारि समाल्‍े सभ जीअ जंत हरि वसै निकटि सभ जउला ॥

    The Lord always looks after and cares for all His beings and creatures; He is with all, near and far.

  8. ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਇਸੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਉਲਾ ॥

    sō būjhai jisu āpi bujhāisī jisu satiguru purkhu prabhu saulā ॥

    सो बूझै जिसु आपि बुझाइसी जिसु सतिगुरु पुरखु प्रभु सउला ॥

    Those whom the Lord inspires to understand, understand; the True Guru, God, the Primal Being, is pleased with them.

  9. ਸਭਿ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਹਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਹਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਹਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਗੁਣੀ ਸਮਉਲਾ ॥੬॥

    sabhi gāvhu guṇ gōvind harē gōvind harē gōvind harē guṇ gāvat guṇī samaulā ॥6॥

    सभि गावहु गुण गोविंद हरे गोविंद हरे गोविंद हरे गुण गावत गुणी समउला ॥६॥

    Let everyone sing the Praise of the Lord of the Universe, the Lord, the Lord of the Universe, the Lord, the Lord of the Universe; singing the Praise of the Lord, one is absorbed in His Glorious Virtues. ||6||
