ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਨੀ ॥

Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਨੀ ॥

hari kā santu satguru sat purkhā jō bōlai hari hari bānī ॥

हरि का संतु सतगुरु सत पुरखा जो बोलै हरि हरि बानी ॥

The True Guru is the Lord's Saint, the True Being, who chants the Bani of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਸੋ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਹਮ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੧॥

jō jō kahai suṇai sō muktā ham tis kai sad kurbānī ॥1॥

जो जो कहै सुणै सो मुकता हम तिस कै सद कुरबानी ॥१॥

Whoever chants it, and listens to it, is liberated; I am forever a sacrifice to him. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਜਸੁ ਕਾਨੀ ॥

hari kē sant sunhu jasu kānī ॥

हरि के संत सुनहु जसु कानी ॥

O Saints of the Lord, listen to the Lord's Praises with your ears.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਪਲ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

hari hari kathā sunhu ik nimakh pal sabhi kilvikh pāp lahi jānī ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

हरि हरि कथा सुनहु इक निमख पल सभि किलविख पाप लहि जानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Listen to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, for a moment, for even an instant, and all your sins and mistakes shall be erased. ||1||Pause||

ਐਸਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਾਧੁ ਜਿਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡਾਨੀ ॥

aisā santu sādhu jin pāiā tē vaḍ purakh vaḍānī ॥

ऐसा संतु साधु जिन पाइआ ते वड पुरख वडानी ॥

Those who find such humble, Holy Saints, are the greatest of the great persons.

ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੰਗਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਲੋਚ ਲੁਚਾਨੀ ॥੨॥

tin kī dhūri maṅgah prabh suāmī ham hari lōc luchānī ॥2॥

तिन की धूरि मंगह प्रभ सुआमी हम हरि लोच लुचानी ॥२॥

I beg for the dust of their feet; I long for the longing for God, my Lord and Master. ||2||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਬਿਰਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਓ ਸੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੀ ॥

hari hari saphliō birkhu prabh suāmī jin japiō sē triptānī ॥

हरि हरि सफलिओ बिरखु प्रभ सुआमी जिन जपिओ से त्रिपतानी ॥

The Name of God, the Lord and Master, Har, Har, is the fruit-bearing tree; those who meditate on it are satisfied.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ ਸਭ ਲਾਥੀ ਭੂਖ ਭੁਖਾਨੀ ॥੩॥

hari hari ammritu pī triptāsē sabh lāthī bhūkh bhukhānī ॥3॥

हरि हरि अंम्रितु पी त्रिपतासे सभ लाथी भूख भुखानी ॥३॥

Drinking in the ambrosia of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am satisfied; all my hunger and thirst is quenched. ||3||

ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਵਡ ਊਚੇ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਜਪਾਨੀ ॥

jin kē vaḍē bhāg vaḍ ūchhē tin hari japiō japānī ॥

जिन के वडे भाग वड ऊचे तिन हरि जपिओ जपानी ॥

Those who are blessed with the highest, loftiest destiny, chant and meditate on the Lord.

ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਦਸਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥

tin hari saṅgti mēli prabh suāmī jan nānak dās dasānī ॥4॥3॥

तिन हरि संगति मेलि प्रभ सुआमी जन नानक दास दसानी ॥४॥३॥

Let me join their congregation, O God, my Lord and Master; Nanak is the slave of their slaves. ||4||3||
