Fourth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਇ ॥

hari hari nāmu nidhānu hai gurmukhi pāiā jāi ॥

हरि हरि नामु निधानु है गुरमुखि पाइआ जाइ ॥

The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is the greatest treasure. The Gurmukhs obtain it.

ਜਿਨ ਧੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਆਇ ॥

jin dhuri masatki likhiā tin satiguru miliā āi ॥

जिन धुरि मसतकि लिखिआ तिन सतिगुरु मिलिआ आइ ॥

The True Guru comes to meet those who have such pre-ordained destiny written upon their foreheads.

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਵਸੀ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥

tanu manu sītlu hōiā sānti vasī mani āi ॥

तनु मनु सीतलु होइआ सांति वसी मनि आइ ॥

Their bodies and minds are cooled and soothed; peace and tranquility come to dwell in their minds.

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਉਦਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਦਾਲਦੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥੨॥

nānak hari hari chaudiā sabhu dāldu dukhu lahi jāi ॥2॥

नानक हरि हरि चउदिआ सभु दालदु दुखु लहि जाइ ॥२॥

O Nanak, chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, all poverty and pain is dispelled. ||2||
