ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥

ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

गउड़ी महला ५ ॥

Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥

hari charṇī jā kā manu lāgā ॥

हरि चरणी जा का मनु लागा ॥

Those who keep their minds attached to the Lord's Feet

ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥

dūkhu dardu bhramu tā kā bhāgā ॥1॥

दूखु दरदु भ्रमु ता का भागा ॥१॥

- pain, suffering and doubt run away from them. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਧਨ ਕੋ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ਪੂਰਾ ॥

hari dhan kō vāpārī pūrā ॥

हरि धन को वापारी पूरा ॥

Those who deal in the Lord's wealth are perfect.

ਜਿਸਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਜੇ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਸੂਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jishi nivājē sō janu sūrā ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जिसहि निवाजे सो जनु सूरा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Those who are honored by the Lord are the true spiritual heroes. ||1||Pause||

ਜਾ ਕਉ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥

jā kau bhaē kripāl gusāī ॥

जा कउ भए क्रिपाल गुसाई ॥

Those humble beings, unto whom the Lord of the Universe shows mercy,

ਸੇ ਜਨ ਲਾਗੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥

sē jan lāgē gur kī pāī ॥2॥

से जन लागे गुर की पाई ॥२॥

Fall at the Guru's Feet. ||2||

ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਨੰਦਾ ॥

sūkh sahaj sānti ānandā ॥

सूख सहज सांति आनंदा ॥

They are blessed with peace, celestial bliss, tranquility and ecstasy;

ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਜੀਵੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੩॥

japi japi jīvē parmānndā ॥3॥

जपि जपि जीवे परमानंदा ॥३॥

Chanting and meditating, they live in supreme bliss. ||3||

ਨਾਮ ਰਾਸਿ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਾਟੀ ॥

nām rāsi sādh saṅgi khāṭī ॥

नाम रासि साध संगि खाटी ॥

In the Saadh Sangat, I have earned the wealth of the Naam.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਦਾ ਕਾਟੀ ॥੪॥੭੪॥੧੪੩॥

kahu nānak prabhi apdā kāṭī ॥4॥74॥143॥

कहु नानक प्रभि अपदा काटी ॥४॥७४॥१४३॥

Says Nanak, God has relieved my pain. ||4||74||143||
