ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਅਉਸਰ ਜਾਣਦੇ॥

ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਅਉਸਰ ਜਾਣਦੇ॥

gurmukh durlabh dēh ausar jāṇdē॥

गुरमुख दुरलभ देह अउसर जाणदे॥

Gurmukhs know (very well) that human birth is a rare opportunity.

ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਅਸਨੇਹ ਸਭ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਦੇ॥

sādh saṅgat asanēh sabh raṅg māṇdē॥

साध संगत असनेह सभ रंग माणदे॥

That is why they cultivate love for holy congregation and enjoy all delights.

ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਲਿਵ ਲੇਹ ਆਖ ਅਖਾਣਦੇ॥

shabad surti liv lēh ākh akhāṇdē॥

शबद सुरति लिव लेह आख अखाणदे॥

They speak after merging their consciousness in the Word.

ਦੇਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਦੇਹ ਸਚ ਸਿਾਣਦੇ॥

dēhī vic bidēh sac sāṇdē॥

देही विच बिदेह सच सिाणदे॥

They become bodiless while living in body and identify the truth.

ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਓਹ ਨ ਏਹ ਇਕ ਪਛਾਣਦੇ॥

dubidhā ōh na ēh ik pachhāṇdē॥

दुबिधा ओह न एह इक पछाणदे॥

They do not have this or that dilemma and know only one Lord.

ਚਾਰ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਥੇਹ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਣਦੇ ॥੧੧॥

chār dihāṛē thēh man vic āṇdē ॥11॥

चार दिहाड़े थेह मन विच आणदे ॥११॥

They know in their heart of heart that within a short period this world is going to become a mound (of earth) and hence they do not develop any attachment with it.
