ਗੜ੍ਹ ਬਗਦਾਦ ਨਿਵਾਇਕੈ ਮਕਾ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਸਭ ਨਿਵਾਯਾ॥

ਗੜ੍ਹ ਬਗਦਾਦ ਨਿਵਾਇਕੈ ਮਕਾ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਸਭ ਨਿਵਾਯਾ॥

gaṛh bagdād nivāikai makā madīnā sabh nivāyā॥

गड़्ह बगदाद निवाइकै मका मदीना सभ निवाया॥

ਸਿਧ ਚੌਰਾਸੀਹ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਖਟ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਖੰਡ ਜਣਾਯਾ॥

sidh chaurāsīh maṇḍlī khaṭ darshan pākhaṇḍ jaṇāyā॥

सिध चौरासीह मंडली खट दरशन पाखंड जणाया॥

He (Baba Nanak) subjugated and eighty four siddhs amd the hypocrisies of the six schools of Indian philosophy.

ਪਾਤਾਲਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਲਖ ਜਿੱਤੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਜਗਤ ਸਬਾਯਾ॥

pātālāṃ ākāsh lakh jittī dhartī jagat sabāyā॥

पातालां आकाश लख जिॱती धरती जगत सबाया॥

Lacs of underworlds, the skies, earths and the whole world were conquered.

ਜਿਤੀ ਨਵਖੰਡ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਸਤਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਫਿਰਾਯਾ॥

jitī navkhaṇḍ mēdnī satnām kā chakr phirāyā॥

जिती नवखंड मेदनी सतनाम का चक्र फिराया॥

Subjugating all the nine divisions of earth he established the cycle of satinam, the true name.

ਦੇਵਦਾਨੋ ਰਾਕਸ ਦੈਂਤ ਸਭ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਭ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾਯਾ॥

dēvdānō rākas daint sabh chitr gupat sabh charnī lāyā॥

देवदानो राकस दैंत सभ चित्र गुपत सभ चरनी लाया॥

All the gods, demons, raksasa, daitys, Chitragupt et al. bowed at his feet.

ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਸਣ ਅਪੱਛਰਾਂ ਰਾਗ ਰਾਗਨੀ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਯਾ॥

indrāsaṇ apcchharāṃ rāg rāgnī maṅgal gāyā॥

इंद्रासण अपॱछरां राग रागनी मंगल गाया॥
