गुरसिखा गुरसिख सेवा लाइआ॥

The Sikhs of the Guru inspire the Sikhs of the Guru to serve.

ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵ ਸੁਖ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ॥

sādh saṅgti kari sēv sukh phalu pāiā॥

साध संगति करि सेव सुख फलु पाइआ॥

Serving the holy congregation they receive the fruit of happiness.

ਤਪੜੁ ਝਾੜਿ ਵਿਛਾਇ ਧੂੜੀ ਨਾਇਆ॥

tapṛu jhāṛi vichhāi dhūṛī nāiā॥

तपड़ु झाड़ि विछाइ धूड़ी नाइआ॥

Sweeping and spreading the sitting mats they bathe in the dust of the holy congregation.

ਕੋਰੇ ਮਟ ਅਣਾਇ ਨੀਰੁ ਭਰਾਇਆ॥

kōrē maṭ aṇāi nīru bharāiā॥

कोरे मट अणाइ नीरु भराइआ॥

They bring unused pitchers and fill them with water (to get it cold).

ਆਣਿ ਮਹਾ ਪਰਸਾਦੁ ਵੰਡਿ ਖੁਆਇਆ ॥੧੦॥

āṇi mahā parsādu vaṇḍi khuāiā ॥10॥

आणि महा परसादु वंडि खुआइआ ॥१०॥

They bring sacred food (maha parshad), distribute it among others and eat.
