ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਮਨ ਪਰਗਾਸ ਹੈ ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਅਜਰ ਜਰੰਦੇ॥

ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਮਨ ਪਰਗਾਸ ਹੈ ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਅਜਰ ਜਰੰਦੇ॥

gursikh man pargās hai piram piālā ajar jarndē॥

गुरसिख मन परगास है पिरम पिआला अजर जरंदे॥

The enlightened mind of the Sikhs drinks and digests the unbearable cup of the love of the Lord.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਬੇਕੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰੰਦੇ॥

pārbraham pūran braham braham babēkī dhiān dharndē॥

पारब्रहम पूरन ब्रहम ब्रहम बबेकी धिआन धरंदे॥

Armed with the knowledge of the Brahm, they meditate upon the transcendental Brahm.

ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤ ਲਿਵਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਣੰਦੇ॥

sabad surat livlīn hō akath kathā gur sabad suṇndē॥

सबद सुरत लिवलीन हो अकथ कथा गुर सबद सुणंदे॥

Merging their consciousness in the Word-sabad, they recite the indescribable story of the Word-the Guru.

ਭੂਤ ਭਵਿਖਹੁ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਅਬਗਤ ਗਤ ਅਤਿ ਅਲਖ ਲਖੰਦੇ॥

bhūt bhavikhhu varatmān abgat gat ati alakh lakhndē॥

भूत भविखहु वरतमान अबगत गत अति अलख लखंदे॥

They are competent to see incomprehensible pace of the past, present and future.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਸੁਖਫਲ ਅਛਲ ਛਲ ਭਗਤ ਵਛਲ ਕਰ ਅਛਲ ਛਲੰਦੇ॥

gurmukh sukhphal achhal chhal bhagat vachhal kar achhal chhalndē॥

गुरमुख सुखफल अछल छल भगत वछल कर अछल छलंदे॥

Never deluding fruit of joy, the gurmukhs get, and with grace of the God, kind to devotees, they rather delude the evil propensities.

ਭਵਜਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੋਹਿਥੈ ਇਕਸ ਪਿਛੈ ਲਖ ਤਰੰਦੇ॥

bhavjal andar bōhithai ikas pichhai lakh tarndē॥

भवजल अंदर बोहिथै इकस पिछै लख तरंदे॥

They work as a boat in the world-ocean and ferry across the millions who follow one gurmukh, the Guru-oriented person.

ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਨ ਹਸੰਦੇ ॥੧੪॥

parupkārī milan hasndē ॥14॥

परउपकारी मिलन हसंदे ॥१४॥

The altruist Sikhs always come up smiling.
