ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਜੋ ਮਾਗਉ ਸੋ ਪਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਦੁਪਦੇ ॥

Aasaa, Fifth Mehl, Dupadas:

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਜੋ ਮਾਗਉ ਸੋ ਪਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

gur parsādi mērai mani vasiā jō māgau sō pāvau rē ॥

गुर परसादि मेरै मनि वसिआ जो मागउ सो पावउ रे ॥

By Guru's Grace, He dwells within my mind; whatever I ask for, I receive.

ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨਾ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂੰ ਧਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੧॥

nām raṅgi ihu manu tripatānā bahuri na kathūṃ dhāvau rē ॥1॥

नाम रंगि इहु मनु त्रिपताना बहुरि न कतहूं धावउ रे ॥१॥

This mind is satisfied with the Love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord; it does not go out, anywhere, anymore. ||1||

ਹਮਰਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਗਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

hamrā ṭhākuru sabh tē ūchhā raiṇi dinsu tisu gāvau rē ॥

हमरा ठाकुरु सभ ते ऊचा रैणि दिनसु तिसु गावउ रे ॥

My Lord and Master is the highest of all; night and day, I sing the Glories of His Praises.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰਾ ਤਿਸ ਤੇ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਡਰਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

khin mahi thāpi uthāpnahārā tis tē tujhhi ḍarāvau rē ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

खिन महि थापि उथापनहारा तिस ते तुझहि डरावउ रे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

In an instant, He establishes and disestablishes; through Him, I frighten you. ||1||Pause||

ਜਬ ਦੇਖਉ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਉ ਅਵਰਹਿ ਚੀਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

jab dēkhau prabhu apunā suāmī tau avrahi chīti na pāvau rē ॥

जब देखउ प्रभु अपुना सुआमी तउ अवरहि चीति न पावउ रे ॥

When I behold my God, my Lord and Master, I do not pay any attention to any other.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਪਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਮੇਟਿ ਲਿਖਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੩੧॥

nānku dāsu prabhi āpi pahirāiā bhramu bhau mēṭi likhāvau rē ॥2॥2॥131॥

नानकु दासु प्रभि आपि पहिराइआ भ्रमु भउ मेटि लिखावउ रे ॥२॥२॥१३१॥

God Himself has adorned servant Nanak; his doubts and fears have been dispelled, and he writes the account of the Lord. ||2||2||131||
