ਗਾਇਓ ਰੀ ਮੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਇਓ ॥

सारग महला ५ ॥

Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਗਾਇਓ ਰੀ ਮੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਇਓ ॥

gāiō rī mai guṇ nidhi maṅgal gāiō ॥

गाइओ री मै गुण निधि मंगल गाइओ ॥

I sing, O I sing the Songs of Joy of my Lord, the Treasure of Virtue.

ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਭਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਅਉਸਰ ਜਉ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ਰੀਝਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

bhalē sañjōg bhalē din ausar jau gōpālu rījhāiō ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

भले संजोग भले दिन अउसर जउ गोपालु रीझाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Fortunate is the time, fortunate is the day and the moment, when I become pleasing to the Lord of the World. ||1||Pause||

ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਾਥਾ ॥

santah charan mōrlō māthā ॥

संतह चरन मोरलो माथा ॥

I touch my forehead to the Feet of the Saints.

ਹਮਰੇ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਸੰਤ ਧਰੇ ਹਾਥਾ ॥੧॥

hamrē masatki sant dharē hāthā ॥1॥

हमरे मसतकि संत धरे हाथा ॥१॥

The Saints have placed their hands on my forehead. ||1||

ਸਾਧਹ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮੋਰਲੋ ਮਨੂਆ ॥

sādhah mantru mōrlō manūā ॥

साधह मंत्रु मोरलो मनूआ ॥

My mind is filled with the Mantra of the Holy Saints,

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਗਤੁ ਹੋਏ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਨੀਆ ॥੨॥

tā tē gatu hōē trai gunīā ॥2॥

ता ते गतु होए त्रै गुनीआ ॥२॥

And I have risen above the three qualities||2||

ਭਗਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨੈਨ ਰੰਗਾ ॥

bhagtah darsu dēkhi nain raṅgā ॥

भगतह दरसु देखि नैन रंगा ॥

Gazing upon the Blessed Vision, the Darshan of God's devotees, my eyes are filled with love.

ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਤੂਟੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੩॥

lōbh mōh tūṭē bhram saṅgā ॥3॥

लोभ मोह तूटे भ्रम संगा ॥३॥

Greed and attachment are gone, along with doubt. ||3||

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਅਨੰਦਾ ॥

kahu nānak sukh sahaj anndā ॥

कहु नानक सुख सहज अनंदा ॥

Says Nanak, I have found intuitive peace, poise and bliss.

ਖੋਲ੍‍ ਿਭੀਤਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧੪॥

khōl‍ ibhīti milē parmānndā ॥4॥14॥

खोल्‍ िभीति मिले परमानंदा ॥४॥१४॥

Tearing down the wall, I have met the Lord, the Embodiment of Supreme Bliss. ||4||14||
