ਫਰੀਦਾ ਜੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਤਿਲ ਥੋੜੜੇ ਸੰਮਲਿ ਬੁਕੁ ਭਰੀ ॥

  1. ਫਰੀਦਾ ਜੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਤਿਲ ਥੋੜੜੇ ਸੰਮਲਿ ਬੁਕੁ ਭਰੀ ॥

    pharīdā jē jāṇā til thōṛṛē sammli buku bharī ॥

    फरीदा जे जाणा तिल थोड़ड़े संमलि बुकु भरी ॥

    Fareed, if I had known that I had so few sesame seeds, I would have been more careful with them in my hands.

  2. ਜੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਸਹੁ ਨੰਢੜਾ ਤਾਂ ਥੋੜਾ ਮਾਣੁ ਕਰੀ ॥੪॥

    jē jāṇā sahu naṇḍhṛā tāṃ thōṛā māṇu karī ॥4॥

    जे जाणा सहु नंढड़ा तां थोड़ा माणु करी ॥४॥

    If I had known that my Husband Lord was so young and innocent, I would not have been so arrogant. ||4||
