ਇਹ ਨੀਸਾਣੀ ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਭੇਟਤ ਤਰੀਐ ॥

ih nīsāṇī sādh kī jisu bhēṭat tarīai ॥

इह नीसाणी साध की जिसु भेटत तरीऐ ॥

This is the distinguishing sign of the Holy Saint, that by meeting with him, one is saved.

ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਫਿਰਿ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਮਰੀਐ ॥

jamkaṅkru nēṛi na āvaī phiri bahuṛi na marīai ॥

जमकंकरु नेड़ि न आवई फिरि बहुड़ि न मरीऐ ॥

The Messenger of Death does not come near him; he never has to die again.

ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਬਿਖੁ ਸੋ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਰੀਐ ॥

bhav sāgru saṃsāru bikhu sō pāri utrīai ॥

भव सागरु संसारु बिखु सो पारि उतरीऐ ॥

He crosses over the terrifying, poisonous world-ocean.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗੁੰਫਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਮਾਲ ਹਰਿ ਸਭ ਮਲੁ ਪਰਹਰੀਐ ॥

hari guṇ gumphhu mani māl hari sabh malu parharīai ॥

हरि गुण गुंफहु मनि माल हरि सभ मलु परहरीऐ ॥

So weave the garland of the Lord's Glorious Praises into your mind, and all your filth shall be washed away.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨਰਹਰੀਐ ॥੧੧॥

nānak prītam mili rahē pārbraham narharīai ॥11॥

नानक प्रीतम मिलि रहे पारब्रहम नरहरीऐ ॥११॥

Nanak remains blended with his Beloved, the Supreme Lord God. ||11||
