ਧੰਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਗੁਰੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਿਰਿਆ ਤਿਨੈ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥

ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਅਕਾਰ ਬਨਾਇਆ॥

dhann dhann satigur purakh nirṅkār akār banāiā॥

धंन धंन सतिगुर पुरख निरंकार अकार बनाइआ॥

The formless Lord has assumed the form of true Guru, the blessed one.

ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸੁਣ ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਜੁਆਯਾ॥

dhann dhann gursikh suṇ charan saran gursikh juāyā॥

धंन धंन गुरसिख सुण चरन सरन गुरसिख जुआया॥

Fortunate is the Sikh of the Guru who listening to the teaching of the Guru has sought the shelter of the Guru-feet.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮਾਰਗ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਮਿਲ ਸੰਗ ਚਲਾਯਾ॥

gurmukh mārag dhann dhann sādh saṅgat mil saṅg chalāyā॥

गुरमुख मारग धंन धंन साध संगत मिल संग चलाया॥

The way of the gurmukhs is blessed on which one treads through the holy congregation.

ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਧੰਨ ਮਸਤਕ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾਯਾ॥

dhann dhann satigur charan dhann masatak gur charnī lāyā॥

धंन धंन सतिगुर चरन धंन मसतक गुर चरनी लाया॥

Blest is feet of the true Guru and that head is also fortunate which reposes on the feet of Guru.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨ ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪਰਸਨ ਆਯਾ॥

satigur darsan dhann hai dhann dhann gursikh parsan āyā॥

सतिगुर दरसन धंन है धंन धंन गुरसिख परसन आया॥

The glimpse of the true Guru is auspicious and the Sikh of the Guru is also blessed one who has come to have sight of the Guru.

ਭਾਉ ਭਗਤਿ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇ ਦਿਆਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਿ ਲਾਯਾ॥

bhāu bhagti gursikh vic hōi diāl gurū mahi lāyā॥

भाउ भगति गुरसिख विच होइ दिआल गुरू महि लाया॥

The Guru loves happily the devotional feelings of the Sikh.

ਦੁਰਮਤ ਦੂਜਾ ਜਾਉ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੧੬॥

durmat dūjā jāu miṭāiā ॥16॥

दुरमत दूजा जाउ मिटाइआ ॥१६॥

The wisdom of the Guru decimates duality.
