ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਸਫਲ ਘੜੀ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥

dhanu dhanu suhāvī saphal ghaṛī jitu hari sēvā mani bhāṇī ॥

धनु धनु सुहावी सफल घड़ी जितु हरि सेवा मनि भाणी ॥

Blessed, blessed, beauteous and fruitful is that moment, when service to the Lord becomes pleasing to the mind.

ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥

hari kathā suṇāvhu mērē gursikhhu mērē hari prabh akath kahāṇī ॥

हरि कथा सुणावहु मेरे गुरसिखहु मेरे हरि प्रभ अकथ कहाणी ॥

So proclaim the story of the Lord, O my GurSikhs; speak the Unspoken Speech of my Lord God.

ਕਿਉ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਿਉ ਦੇਖੀਐ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੀ ॥

kiu pāīai kiu dēkhīai mērā hari prabhu sughṛu sujāṇī ॥

किउ पाईऐ किउ देखीऐ मेरा हरि प्रभु सुघड़ु सुजाणी ॥

How can I attain Him? How can I see Him? My Lord God is All-knowing and All-seeing.

ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥

hari mēli dikhāē āpi hari gur bacnī nāmi samāṇī ॥

हरि मेलि दिखाए आपि हरि गुर बचनी नामि समाणी ॥

Through the Word of the Guru's Teachings, the Lord reveals Himself; we merge in absorption in the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਤਿਨ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜੋ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੧੦॥

tin viṭhu nānku vāriā jō japdē hari nirbāṇī ॥10॥

तिन विटहु नानकु वारिआ जो जपदे हरि निरबाणी ॥१०॥

Nanak is a sacrifice unto those who meditate on the Lord of Nirvaanaa. ||10||
